All of the instructors were very nice and the staff is courteous, but I think this program is well only well-suited for babies and toddlers, not preschoolers. My daughter did lessons at Aqua Tots for around six months and barely progressed. She was eager, but it seemed like too much play time and they did not challenge her nearly enough. They kept offering a hand when she jumped in and did the same things every time. She did become more comfortable in the water, but at her age, she should have been swimming independently by the time we pulled her out. She also had different instructors all the time, which made her more timid. She is my youngest of three and I had a much better experience at the Y or with private lessons. I felt like it was a waste of money and will be trying out another swim school that I’ve heard great things about.

Well, I’m not sure what the problem is with the other person who reviewed Aqua-Tots, but we’ve been taking my daughter here since she was six months old and they’re fabulous. Sure, they’re constantly on the phone… But every time I go there, there are at least four people helping out behind the front desk. The pool is warm, the curriculum is great, the facilities are superb, you can watch your kiddo take their swim lesson(or if they’re young, you can swim with them). The teachers are caring. We’ve recommended Aqua-Tots to people all over the nation and they all love it, too. Plus there are occasionally nights where you can drop off your child and they can have fun swimming in a supervised environment and you and your significant other can have a date night. The people that run Aqua-Tots are caring, you can miss lessons and bank make-up lessons whenever you need to, and they’re very flexible for busy, harried moms. It’s a great place and we’re thrilled we found it!

I only added this business so Aqua tots would realize how ridiculous their front desk girl was and also for mums to know how different locations differ. I haven’t been to other Aqua tots locations and I went for a trial class after having been to Fins Swim school for a trial class too. I was so put off by the girl in the front who was constantly on the phone while I waited her to guide me. Her name was Bettina(I don’t know how to spell it, but she had curly hair). I was impressed with the pool and changing area but so disappointed with the service and attitude that I will never take my daughter there! People want friendly services especially when you’re dealing with already frustrated and tired moms!!!
