Found this sweet place, thanks to a flat tire! While waiting on AAA to come because jack was broken these nice people served some great food to me! They even offered to change tire, but jack was broken.
Will be back under better circumstances!!!

Huge, freshly made burgers. Crisp, piping hot fries. Great prices. Ask for the homemade spicy mayo.

We ordered the cheeseburger w waffle fries and a side of fried okra. It was amazing… and enough for us to split. Great customer, as well. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow! The Texas split burger! I’m so full and completely satisfied. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I’ll stop here any time I drive by here and am hungry.

Just finished the Chipotle burger with onion rings, OMG, was delicious, would have been better if Chipotle peppers were sliced

For being a burger joint on the side of the road, I was amazingly surprised!
Their burgers are huge, so don’t even worry about the one pound option unless you are feeling like a glutton. If you choose to be a glutton, why not go for the cheese burger split or the Pirate burger challenge (I have posted pics).
The burger was extremely large and juicy. I went with the waffle fries, and the rest of my table got the regular fries. All fries were great and a huge portion.
The staff was extremely friendly and took good care of us. It seemed like they did a lot of take out business.
The bathroom was clean and spacious, but they only have one for everyone.
The only complaint I had was it smelled a little like bad friend food in there, but I got over it quickly.
This place is definitely for your cheat day of your diet. I will definitely stop here if I am going to Lake Livingston again or going north on 59.

This place is so awesome every time I go to Livingston area I have to eat here before I go back. Also the people are so welcoming, I highly recommend if your in the area to stop in!

It must have been a real off night around here. The place was hot with fans everywhere. There were two other tables when we got there — a two top and a big one that would not be be ready to order for a while. We ordered fried mushrooms and they got to us in a reasonable amount of time. That was the last time we saw the waitress for over an hour. Finally, the owner came to the table to tell us they were out of popcorn shrimp — which two of my kids had ordered. This was about an hour into our visit — 45 minutes or so since ordering. He let us know at that time that all of our food was ready, but did not offer to bring it out. So our food sat under the heat lamp for another fifteen minutes (he told us it would be 5) while we stewed at our table. Finally, when I threatened to bolt, our food was brought out but the two kids had to eat from to go boxes in the car. The food might have been good but the service and the dryness from sitting under the heat lamp made us only take a few bites and get out as fast as we could. It was VERY expensive — even though he took off 20% for our trouble. Owner guy — if you’re reading this, as someone with many years of experience in the business — this meal should have been comped.

Great service, the girls who work there are very friendly and it was great getting to meet the owner during our meal. The food was great as well, we ordered the mushroom baked potato, mushroom burger, and fried pickles to top it off! Everything tastes great and the portions were really good for the price too! Love the Texas diner feel to the place.

Great food at a great price. I was supposed at how much food they give you for no more than it cost. You will walk away very full for no more than $ 10. Cold AC. Sort of a lower end building but clean.

The food was very fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. The owner came to our table and talked with us. There was quite a variety of entrees, appetizers, salads, sides, and desserts. I had one of the best buffalo burgers I’ve ever had — not dry at all. It has a great Texas, American, and small town feel to it.

Fantastic burger and waffle fries. Think they were both home made, not sure how else it could be so much better than other hamburgers. Kinda a funky building, easy to miss. Worth the stop.

Stopped here on the way to Texarkana from Houston. The food is amazing! I had the Chipotle Burger with pepper jack, avocado, chipotles, and added bacon. Delicious! The batter on the onion rings was great, too. My friend had the large chicken fried steak (Texas-​sized portion) with green beans and mashed potatoes. He didn’t say much after the food came so I think he liked it. He also had to have a moment with the banana pudding. The bite I managed to steal away was heavenly. Great stop!

They do a good job here. Great food with local atmosphere and super-​friendly service. Every time we’ve been its been an enjoyable experience. Parking is a little limited and if you need to head north to head home you need to navigate 59 quickly, but those are minor things.

One of the best, if not the best, restaurant in San Jacinto County. I always stop in or get take out when I don’t feel like cooking and not going to a larger city with more selections. Nice homemade comfort food. I haven’t tried everything but the burgers and sandwiches are really good. Stop by on your travels for local eats!

To this double wide on HWY 59 for dinner. We split the Texas spilt, which was a cheese burger, grilled onion, chicken fried steak, and mashed potato awesomeness. Trust me it will feed two just fine. Service was great and we loved the home town feel. Definitely will be coming back.

Had to stop after reading reviews. Clean, friendly, awesome Cheeseburger. Ordered the waffle fries and onion rings combo with sweet tea. Highly recommend!

This place looks like someone parked a double-​wide on the side of the highway and decided to open up a restaurant. But if you want good country home cookin’, this is the place. They have a lot of your traditional comfort foods (chicken fried steak, fried okra, mashed potatoes, etc.) But they also have a pretty large menu with a variety of good and interesting cuisines.
I ordered this massive thing, it was half a venison burger and half a chicken fried steak, smothered in mashed potatoes and cream and brown gravy. It was perry good, but far too much food for a normal man to eat.
They also have a nice variety of house made desserts, some of which happen to be old family recipes of some of the employees. I had strawberry cobbler and it was very good.
As far as customer service goes, it was your typical small town hospitality and everyone was very friendly and pleasant.

I had grilled shrimp which was delicious. Overall I would come back
