Wonderful! 5 of us did a wine tasting with 3 cheese spreads and crackers and and loved it. Our server was very informative. Price was great, wines were amazing, whole experience was fabulous. I’d like to go back to try 6 more wines.

Good find! We came here after visiting Bernheim forest. The drive seems like you are going to a residence, so be ready for that. This is a place to take your time. Very sweet owners who did all of the work themselves while we were there. Good price and you get to keep your glass. And Henry, their dog, is adorable :)

What an ADORABLE little winery! The ride in is definitely off the beaten path, but there are signs at every important intersection confirming you are on the right path. I had purchased a Groupon for Wight-Meyer and was excited to finally use it. It came with 2 tastings($ 5 normally), two glasses, and a cheese tray. We walked in and was greeted by Sandy. Her and her husband(who is the wine-maker) are co-owners. She took my Groupon info and started making the cheese tray as we looked over the wine tasting list. This may have been the first time my BF has said he wanted to try MORE than what was allowed in one tasting… and I had to completely agree with him. Everything looked amazing. The cheese tray consisted of 2 types of crackers, a few black olives and two scoops of cheese spread, a beer cheese that had a bit of a kick and a white cheese made from their Diamond wine($ 7.99 normally). I LOVED the beer cheese and my BF who isn’t a fan of spice loved the wine cheese. Both are made in KY(a local cheese maker based out of Lexington) and were delicious. Mind you, the cheese was made to accompany the tasting, not replace a meal. We did the tasting and I liked all the wines. It’s rare that there isn’t a single one I wouldn’t have bought. I did end up purchasing a glass while we sat and talked to another visiting couple. Ended up leaving with the«Sassy B» and«Amy’s Apple Pie». Sassy B is a rose that I think would encompass all my friend’s tastes… so I plan on bringing it to the next girls night. Amy’s Apple Pie was probably my favorite apple wine… ever. I plan on adding a little cinnamon whiskey in the fall for an awesome warming drink. We didn’t do a second tasting that day… which is our incentive to return. Great place, great people… definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful Winery and wonderful people. We had our wedding here and could not have been more pleased with the treatment we were given. We’ve gone back several times simply because we love a few of the wines.

This was our last stop on the Kentucky Wine Trail. Loved the quality of the red wines! Especially the Cabernet. We did the wine tasting for $ 5.00 which you get a glass. Great atomosphere, friendly servers and awesome wines. A must visit.

Like other rural Kentucky wineries, this is a small-scale, relaxed family winery with a down-home feel, nice people and tasty wines ranging from traditional to local varietals. This one is actually a bit larger than most due to the covered patio in the back that overlooks their vineyard, complete with a wedding Gazebo in an adjacent grassy area. A bit off the beaten path but well worth the visit if you’re at Jim Beam or just like tasting unique wines. Their Diamond is one of the American grapes that grows well in the region and they’ve managed to do a great job on this one. They chose to plant the Diamond grape as opposed to the Catawba, which I appreciate since the catawba is more widely planted and produced in the region. They also make a fantastic Sweet Red Raspberry, along with blueberry, blackberry and apple wines. Last, their Barrel-aged Blackberry port is a refreshingly smooth port as opposed to so many others that border on a hard alcohol taste.
