Costco

I come here mostly for the liquor selection. Guaranteed to beat any other liquor store in town by $ 2 – 10 per item. Especially around the holidays they have some interesting stuff. For instance I got a three pack of Glenmorangie 3-​pack that essentially got you the Glenmorangie 10 year old Original for free the the La Santa and Quinta Ruban. They also seem to have some unique items (sports apparel, nice furniture) not available at other stores.

I love this Costco. Extremely friendly staff. Food samples are huge and plentiful. The check out lines are never that long. Gas lines are fairly short and there is hardly a wait.
The best thing, Costco liquor store is right next door.

Used to love buying lunch, dinner or snacks at the food court. Until one day the guy taking orders kept taking orders for the 5 people behind me and kept ignoring me until he was super rude and responded «Fine, what the hell do you want!». Bad customer service there…

Absolutely love this Costco. Qualtity food items, lots of other surprises every time we go (clothing, kitchen appliances, gift ideas like books and jewelry, electronics, car/​garage stuff, furniture, seasonal/​holiday stuff, an attached liquor store with equally amazing prices, and even gas!!). GREAT prices. I’ve researched Costco as a company and they are truly legit. We shop here so much we upgraded to the executive membership and are getting money back every year! If you’ve never been to Costco, you need to devote an afternoon to perusing every isle and you’ll see what I mean. In my opinion it is head-​and-​shoulders above Sam’s Club.

Getting tires from Costco has been such a bad experience that I thought I should warn other people. Long story short: bought tires for my Kia Optima SX online at
. Was told I would be alerted when they arrived. Didn’t hear anything for over a week, till I called them. Then was told that if I didn’t want a 2−4hr wait, I should make an appointment– and the first available slot was almost two weeks later. Sucked it up and cleared my daytime schedule to go in. Got there and learned that the wrong tires had come in, and I got sold into some other tires, which wouldn’t be in for a couple of days («we can’t predict when UPS will get them here» I was told). A week later, came in and was told they would get them on quickly-​2 hours later, they were not having any sense of urgency until we came and hovered over our car to get working on it! And the kicker is that we really didn’t save much $$ over Discount Tire or Big O – they have a lot of great items at Costco, but I will NEVER subject myself to their tire center again, and I would highly suggest my Unilocal friends to do the same!

These are a few of my favorite things (to buy at Costco):
— Produce. Berries, bananas, apples, broccoli, carrots. All of it!
— Eggs. Get those omegas and MUFAs in!
— Nuts. Of all shapes and sizes. Yum.
— DARK CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZEL THINS
Make sure your cart is filled with these goodies, and you’re golden.

You have to have really good self control to not eat the whole bag for that last one, but who cares if you eat the whole bag, really, I mean come on, if I’m allowed to write crazy run-​on sentences on Unilocal,then I think eating a whole bag of amazing chocolate covered pretzels is acceptable.

HUGE THANK YOU to the shopping cart guys, JUSTIN AND DAVID! They saved me today. Costco is usually the same experience every time I go. Go in, eat samples, buy $ 150+ worth of stuff, leave. However, today was a memorable experience! Today I bought a ginormous tool box. When I went to go get my car to bring around front I realized the battery had died! My friend was also there with her car so that we could fit everything. Justin and David not only loaded this 300lb behemoth into my truck, but David lent me his personal jumper cables so that my friend could jump my car (it should be noted Justin offered as well). That’s beyond customer service! Thanks guys, you were my heros today!

This Costco is a giant sh*tshow every single time I have ever been.
Parking sucks, isn’t laid out well, and is crammed it at odd angles.
The kicker? Their prices are higher as a surcharge for the cost of building the place. So we get to front the bill.

Unfortunately we filled our car up with regular fuel and before we could even get home it died and had to be towed to the dealership. Dealership confirmed that the fuel was contaminated with water. Buyer Beware !!!

The store was nice and clean. Looks newer. They have a self checkout so that’s a plus when the lines are crazy. It’s located next to a Super target, whatever you can’t find at Costco I’m sure target will have it. Only complaint, not enough workers.

I would normally leave 5 stars for this location but as far as the food court goes, customer service is seriously lacking. I wanted to split a berry sundae with my mother and usually they do it no problem but on 1−23−15 around 2p.m. an older hispanic man greeted me with a scowl and practically rolled his eyes at my request. Normally Costco gives really generous portions but there seemed to be a stick up this mans bum today; he filled 2 cups ¼ of the way full so they both totaled less than a normal berry sundae. What a rip off! Whats this guy’s problem? Costco should seriously reconsider having this fool deal with customers, he belongs hidden away in the back of the warehouse because he is extremely rude! I will be asking for a single sundae and an extra cup so I can split it myself next time so I get my moneys worth.

Okay it is hard to give a review of Costco. But here it is. Great prices when you need like a ton of s%it paper and other items in BULK!
But if you have ever seen the people of walmart videos, wal mart has nothing on costco! Looks like some just got off the prison bus!

If you happen to come here during high sample time, you should be prepared for the following:
1) it’ll be horridly busy
2) you’ll eat things you’ll regret later
3) you’ll probably end up impulse buying
Several times, I’ve bought impulse purchases b/​c I was lured into trying some delicious bite of something or another. I suppose this outcome is the point of the sample.
There’s nothing I can say in a review that will convince you to come if you’re not a fan already. But I love coming to get some green chile, a rotisserie chicken, and home necessities like TP, paper towels, etc. Then there’s the odd item, like a mid-​weight jacket or pet bed. If you need something… you should probably check here.

What can I say about Costco? It’s Costco! They have good stuff at decent prices, some decent organic options, and they pay their employees well. I imagine a lot of people don’t notice, but a happy, well-​paid staff makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience for me.

Does anyone not like Costco? I will forever maintain that the $ 1.50 Polish sausage/​drink combo is one of the best lunches ever.
This CostCo lives up to the brand standard with pricing, selection, and customer service. Unlike a lot of the big box stores, they actually treat their employees well, and the fact that they actually achieve job satisfaction comes through. You can find great deals on a lot of things here– from toilet paper to frozen salmon or chicken to laundry detergent. Kirkland laundry detergent is environmentally friendly and works great, by the way.
The only thing that would make this store better would be if it was the one with the liquor license and Kirkland beer/​wine/​margarita mix (that’s the Wadsworth/​Quincy one). This location is much easier to get in and out of than the Park Meadows location.
I’m a fan of the land of bulk savings!

This is one of many places where I go in to buy one or two things, and end up with a basket full of items and a bill that could have payed my monthly rent when I was younger. That said, the products that I purchase are of distinctly higher quality then I would usually purchase and I like that. Now as my family consists of just two grown adults, the quantities of the bulk purchases can be daunting. Do I really have a need for 8 skinless, boneless, organic chicken breasts? Not really. But the price looks so good… well it looks good for skinless, boneless ORGANIC chicken, that is what rich people eat!
Recently I started investigating the Costco auto program and so far am impressed. Unlike chicken breasts, you do not have to buy in bulk. WHEW! But seriously, you get under invoice pricing and still get all the incentives the manufacturer is running. Again, this does fall under the purchasing higher quality products then I usually would. To this point, I have never purchased a brand new car. But the savings have me interested. Well that and my other two «well used» cars are starting to die.
The samples are an affordable way to try what is there as you will be purchasing a three month supply of whatever you purchase there. And occasionally the samples can substitute for a very cheap date. And if you show up at the wrong time and the sample folks are not out. Well sit down next to me, and we can split a cheap hotdog or a piece of mediocre pizza. If you are not quite as romantic as me, you can eat there alone, but the ambiance is almost lost on solo dining.
That said, I have not cracked the ability to leave the store for less than $ 80 and that is mostly with having someone tell me to put back every impulsive lifetime supply of product I may wish to purchase. Unchecked, watch out mortgage, Phil is gonna drop $ 300 … and just get food that he doesn’t need!

I can’t add much that hasn’t already been said — Costco is AWESOME.
First, the employees here are always so much friendlier than those at other superstores. They are helpful and efficient.
Yes, there are tons of unhealthy frozen options for your food needs, but they’ve also got some fantastic treats for the health conscious. I love love love their vegetable and barley soup — look for it in the refrigerated section. YUM!

It’s a Costco! I love it here. Sometimes it’s hard to navigate your way in, past aisles of carts. The paths to the exits are narrow, and you usually have to scoot past some very determined Costco shopper on their way out, cart full of consumables.
The sample people here seem to be extra quirky, or is that just me?

I LOVE this Costco! It’s well stocked, clean and like all Costcos, the customer service is excellent.
One other Unilocaler complained that this Costco seems to be more locally skewed, meaning more organic and expensive items. And I agree that they have more organic items.
However, they are certainly NOT more expensive. For example, my 16 oz bag of Organic frozen cherries was $ 9.99. The conventional frozen cherries at King Soopers only come in a 10oz bag and is $ 4.99. The King Soopers 16 oz bag of conventional blueberries is $ 11.99 where the same size of Kirkland organic blueberries is $ 9.99. Additionally, a package of Organic Spring Mix Salad is $ 2 less here as well.
In addition, you can get gift cards discounted here for up to 50%! So if I see a good one, I’ll stock up for gifts.
This Costco is as good as it gets.

Costco is one of my favorite stores. I am not ashamed of this. Haters are gonna hate, and some people seem to enjoy paying too much money so they can shop at hipper grocery places. Indeed, there is very little that Costco does that I do not think is a good idea. However, as they say, «Hell is other people». As such, my pet peeve about Costco is that is is just so darn popular. Most of my negative experiences when I go to a Costco involve bottlenecks of people abandoning their carts to get free samples, hovering near the free samples waiting for them to put out more, or not better corralling their broods of offspring. Also, my local Costco in Parker has been a bit slow to open up additional registers lately.
My visit to this particular Costco in Sheridan (really? I pass through here all the time and did not realize this was Sheridan) was rather pleasant. Sure, this one seems laid out slightly different than the others ones, for no particular reason. Which made it a bit more confusing to find stuff. And, some of the aisles, like between the cheese and the cereal were abnormally narrow. However, the selection was nice, the samples were not creating too many traffic jams, and best of all, when I got to the checkout they had lots and lots of registers open.
