Gross! This was the worst $ 40 I’ve ever spent, I won’t ever come here again. Should have left when I saw the dirty bowls at the beginning of the buffet set up. We ordered some potstickers as an appetizer and I’m sorry that we did. Aside from being super greasy, the potstickers themselves weren’t too bad. The sauce however was cloyingly sweet and gelatinous and gross. The buffet ingredients we pretty basic and very low quality. Nasty, mushy seafood medley and chunks of fake crab meat. The chicken, pork and beef were fine, but sliced so thin that they turned into jerky on the grill. I tried the Pad Thai noodles and they were like rubber bands. The first bowl I had, I tried the seasonal red curry sauce along with a scoop of some kind of hot sauce and it was pretty decent. The second bowl, I tried the green curry sauce and it was greasy and flavorless and disgusting. Over all, this place is not even close to being worth the time or money.

If you’re looking for a good Mongolian restaurant I recommend this place it’s all you can eat and you build the meal the way you want it. Gun for all ages and if you have little ones I recommend getting the Smore’s for Dessert you literally roast your own marshmallows over a open flame and assemble your s’more it’s fun! So if you’re looking for something fun and different to take your family I recommend this place dinner is a little high in price at $ 14 but lunch isn’t to bad at $ 10

Decided to go there for lunch with the family. There was five of us! Three waters and when ice tea and one soda. All five of us split one dessert. Other than that we ordered nothing over and above their regular meal. $ 120 with tip. That being said the food was good the service is adequate but nothing really special. Maybe if a manager or somebody else to come to check on us it would be five stars. It’s definitely worth going. For the money I spent for what we got I really believe it’s four stars.

The food is amazing, plain and simple. And 10.99 for all you can eat lunch?! I will, to here any day. The chefs know what they are doing. The food is always kept up in the station. And above all, you know what is going in your mouth, cuz you chose it.

Came here by chance since we were driving by and wanted something different. Brought the family here and turns out this ace was more of a buffet rather than pay by the ounce. Lots of choices of meats, vegetables, and sauces. Next time if I come here I will order smaller portions so I came try the different combinations of food.

The food was awesome and I love the concept. I value eating healthy and always appreciate an opportunity to get lots of veggies when I eat out. The cooks at the grill did an excellent & timely job at a very busy time. My aunt has a shellfish allergy and they cleaned the grill and took all necessary precautions when cooking her bowl. Our waitress was obviously over tasked as it took a long time to get drinks, salads, soups, etc. And they were confused as to what orders went to what table. I look forward to going back and bringing friends.

I love Mongolian BBQ! This place is pretty good. It’s what I would call American Mongolian BBQ, but that’s ok. The pluses are the simple things like adding free rice as a side, all-you-can eat bowls, and excellent food allergy precautions. And it’s affordable, good for the price. The negatives are the meat is frozen and sliced thin, granted this is how traditional Mongolian BBQ places do it, sauces are very watered down so you have to use more sauces, and cooking is done without the food being circulated around the cooking stone. Overall, this is good for the price.

I absolutely love Mongolian BBQ. If you screw up the bowl, you have no one to blame but yourself. At HuHot, if you screw up the bowl, make a new one. I have only had great experiences at HuHot. They have a good choice of craft brews to pick from. If you don’t drink alcohol, then they have one of those build your own Cocoa Cola machines. The arrangements of things to put in your bowl are large. There is a whole cart of meats including steak, chicken, shrimp, tofu, and pork. Then an assortment of noodles to accompany the meats. A whole cart of veggies to pick from and then the best part. The sauces are by far the best part. This is where you can make any mixture that you want. I mix it up each time but I always include the garlic chunks. I love garlic. The chefs are always on their A game and the servers are always attentive and super quick. I love HuHot so much. Great Mongolian BBQ!

Thinking of this place makes me nauseous in retrospect. Absolutely awful ingredients. The meat is sliced ridiculously thin, frozen(legit freezer burned) and once cooked, of VERY questionable quality. Veggies looked like they were opened from cans, poured in buffet pans, then sat in those pans to easily be swapped when needed for days on end(sugar snap peas matching the hue of hunter green??? I’ll skip). The sauce station had a lot of choices, as per most Mongolian places. The service was fine. Her sole responsibility was bringing us our drinks(and endless refills, thankya) and our initial(confused?) decision of white rice. She was kind and efficient. We just wished that we hadn’t felt so dumb when both she and the hostess ignored our answer of no to «have you been in before?» The guys working the grill were so kind. They never once showed an ounce of annoyance by the gluttony of an all you can eat crowd that also expected to be entertained. The grill guys deserve the majority of the tips, honestly. My fiancé and I both decided we will spend the extra $ 5 for each of us to get a large bowl at a one and done Mongolian place near Park Meadows from now on. The quality/atmosphere/fresh veggies of our go to outweigh this place hands down. All you can eat? For cheap? Fair. But I lost my appetite after trying the first piece of meat. So disgusting. Such crappy quality. So I guess the nearly $ 14.49 I spent before tip for soda and a trip to the byo bar was an absolute waste.

The food is very tasty but doesn’t have a wide selection like Mongolian Grill. I like coming here to avoid the traffic and parking of Downtown. Their appetizers and desserts are to die for. I agree, The Kung Pao was way too hot!!! Watch out.

Too expensive for the quality. And the bathrooms were disgusting.

I liked it for what it is. I feel like the list of ingredients maybe isn’t as extensive as some other Mongolian BBQ places, but I don’t think this place gets the traffic that say a downtown location would get either(it’s a little awkward to get to and hidden even though you see it from Santa Fe). The lunch deal is pretty good at $ 10 for all-you-can-eat. I had a hot tea as well. The tea selection wasn’t that extensive, but was $ 2.25. All in all, my lunch was around $ 15 including tax/tip, so it’s reasonable. As for the ingredients, I think the veggies looked nice and fresh. The fruits(mangos, pineapples, etc) could’ve looked a little better. They looked canned. The meats were frozen and sliced, which is fine, except they might’ve been a little freezer burned and that showed at cooking(you have to know the condition to notice it). The sauces are well made(for the pre-made ones) and they include a menu that tells you allergens, etc. There are also plenty of do it yourself options for those with restrictions. I wasn’t sure if they oils they use and labeled were pure(is sesame oil ALL sesame oil?) so I was leery as I didn’t want too much cheap oil in my food, but I didn’t see indications anywhere. I was missing the dry herbs station that I’ve seen at other establishments, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I also missed whole eggs to add. It had the staple veggies that most people would seek out for traditional stir fry though. The seafood selection is a medley, so while you might have complete choice at another place, they mix squid, shrimp, and clams(all pretty small) in a single container. Mussels are in their own container, but pre-cooked. Would’ve like to see a white fish option, and maybe an indication of whether they are farmed or wild, but that’s just me(I prefer grass-fed, pasture raised, or wild personally). The cooks were a wee bit«taxing». There were only a few patrons there for late lunch on a Monday, and the cooks were comparing flare skills between themselves, which is fine, except they kept dropping the spatulas. They did put any dropped spatulas into the dirty bin and get new ones, but after a few rounds of competition there(whatever they were doing) I started to think of the water/supply waste in washing so many things that fall on the floor, whereas if they cut that crap out, a washing would last longer. Also, did their gloves maybe touch the floor while they were picking them up 10 times? The whole thing was just off-putting. They also moved spatulas between foods, which in my mind is cross-contamination for people with allergies. I’d rather see them leave spatulas with a meal, I guess. Or I was just put off by the whole spatula experience and wanted to turn my back on it. My waitress was very nice an accommodating. I have no complaints there. The check even offers the 15/18/20% tip calculation, which is nice to see. I will try to take my family there soon, to see how the kids do and will probably update.

FIVESTAR $ 10 all-you-can-eat freshly grilled LUNCH! This Mongolian BBQ on Santa Fe is nestled in the Costco/Target Riverplex area and is a great find! Pile as much fresh stuff in a bowl, and 4 – 5 scoops of sauce at the sauce bar, then hand off to the grillers and a couple minutes later enjoy your piping hot stir-fried heaping plate of deliciousness! Eat it with some hot rice, and then– if you a re still hungry– go again!!! I went in for the thinly sliced beef, chicken, and pork, topped with onions, broccoli, water chestnuts, cilantro and Jalepenos. I added 5 scoops of sauce, one with Ginger, garlic-chile, burn-your-village-down hot sauce, and 5 spice Szechwan sauce. It was really really tasty! What a great lunch spot!

Let me start by saying I would go back to this place and I think that this was just an «off» night for the hostess. When I arrived, I asked for a table for 3, and if I could have a booth with a high chair. The hostess«Jackie» sat us in a booth. I thought she was off to get a high chair, but after waiting a few minutes, Jackie continued seating other guests. The booth was in a heavily trafficked area, so we got up and asked if we could move to a spot where the high chair(that she never brought) would be out of the way. She then said«Yeah booths are really not an ideal seat if you have high chair». Uh, ok, you could have said that the first time before you sat us. She then sat us at a table, without a high chair… AGAIN and went back up to the hostess booth. With a squirming 15 month old on my lap we looked for someone to get us a high chair. After a few minutes we found someone, I think it was the manager, who got the high chair for us promptly. Our waitress came over and took our drink order and we were off to the buffet. The buffet attendant was wonderful, she kept everything stocked, and diligently wiped down the counters, kept the veggies in the correct trays, wiped down the sauce area. She really took her job seriously and it showed. The cooks all looked like they were having fun preparing everyone’s dinner. They kept the line moving along, and remembered who ordered what, which was very impressive. Our waitress didn’t tell us we got complimentary soup or salad until after we had already eaten most of our meal, but honestly the soup just brought down the experience. It was probably some of the worst hot and sour soup I have ever had. Just avoid the soup and stick to the buffet, that’s what you came for anyway. One more lousy experience with the hostess… When I asked where the restrooms were, without looking up from her table seating chart, she pointed over her shoulder and said, «They are back there». Well, «back there» was the entire restaurant, and specifically she pointed at the buffet line. :-/ Overall, this place is a little pricey for what it is($ 13.99 for dinner like this seems pretty high, $ 9.99 is a more reasonable price I would expect paying). But it is very family friendly place that we will probably go back to some day. The food was good, and the rest of the staff was very nice. It was annoying that the hostess was in a lousy mood, but eh, we all have bad days.

I think this place is great. Never had a bad experience, and the food is on point!!! I even saw them create a barrier on the cooking table so that someone with an allergy did not get exposed to anything that could cause them to have a reaction. Also they don’t care how many bowls you bring up so I stack all my meat and noodles on one, and fill the other with veggies. Then sauce both of them I strongly recommend this place for lunch!

A great concept, but the ingredients are not the best options or maybe not the best quality of ingredients? I’m really not sure. I’ve been here a couple of times and I keep coming back because the prices are reasonable, it’s convenient, the staff is very friendly and the food is decent. I really wish the food tasted better. I’ve tried a bunch of different concoctions and so far I haven’t been blown away.

First time to this location, and not a good experience. I don’t have much to say, but we will not be going back. Unfortunately. First off, our waitress put dirty dishes on our table while we were sitting there. She had just cleaned off the table behind us, and then to grab our dishes, she sat the plates down and stacked them all. ew. Then the line where you get your food was just not maintained. noodles were all over the place, food was stuck to the floor, some handles were sticky. I just felt like I was in an elementary cafeteria. Our cooks were great and friendly, but it didn’t seem like they were into it. The last time I went to a HuHot location they interacted with people, and did cool tricks with the food. This time, not so much. I even sat and listened to a cook talk to the manager about how he is ready to do other things, because he doesn’t see himself doing this forever. Well, I don’t mind that, but don’t let your customers know you don’t care. And then… the worst part. Because we were there pretty late, they had their nighttime cleaning duties to attend to. As we brought up our last bowls of food I noticed the other cook cleaning the floors with a mop that kept falling apart that she would fix with her bare hands and was completely soaked from her ankles down in dirty water. I felt bad for the cooks. That has got to give you blisters. And then I lost my appetite. As a tip– I would say to wait until all guests have left to clean that stove/floor area. You never know who may get that last itch to try something before close.

Beware the hottest Kung Pao sauce! Our first night in Colorado and we decided to try this place. This place has an all-you-can-eat setting. There are also appetizers, drinks, and desserts on the menu. I was surprised to see their selection of beverages ranging from red/white wines to beers and cocktails. You grab a bowl and load it up with your choice of noodles(Chinese noodles, yakisoba, and pad thai), meats(beef, pork, chicken, salmon, tilapia, sausage, mussels, shrimp, etc.), veggies(bean sprouts, onions, celery, broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.), and sauces. I like how they tell you the recommended amount of ladles is 6 for each bowl because I tend to under or over season. I used 2 of the three spiciest flavors and it was hard for me to finish! Super spicy but not lacking in flavor, I really enjoyed it! I was surprised to see their selection, so many items to choose from. You can’t take leftovers home, of course. It was $ 13.99 for the all you can eat dinner. I’m definitely going to try to Utah location soon!

We loved the Old Town Fort Collins HuHot in college, so when we saw that this HuHot had opened, my husband and I made sure to visit while I was home for the holidays. If you’ve been to a Mongolian grill, you know the drill: order any appetizers, pick your soup/salad and rice, and then go to the grill as many times as you like, picking your own noodles/veggies/meats/sauce. You don’t need the appetizer, seems how the grill is all-you-can-eat, but the crab rangoons are some of the best I’ve had, so I’d say they’re worth it. The make-your-own-adventure aspect of the grill is always fun, at least to me. As others have mentioned, the meats may be sliced a little bit too thin, but I had both chicken and steak in separate dishes and didn’t have a problem with either. All of the vegetables are fresh and good quality. I like quite a few of the sauces, but I’m partial to basing my combo off of «Burn-Your-Village BBQ.» If you want to save on calories, load your bowl with vegetables before adding noodles; they have nutrition information posted about the sauces as well. There are also some cards posted with recipe suggestions if you need more details, or if you want more guidance on yummy bowl assembly.(My tip: skip the spinach. Sauteed spinach is delicious when you add it when your stir fry is almost done, but not when it’s cooked as long as everything else and gets super wilted). Service was mixed; the grill guys were quite friendly, but while our server was friendly, she did go missing for a few extended periods of time. The price is really reasonable, considering all of the food you can get. We were both stuffed after two visits to the grill, but we saw other patrons who had… considerably more. I remember that they had a decent selection of beers, especially the Asian varieties, but I don’t remember the rest of the drink menu. Gimmicky, but good. I’m a fan.

It seemed I watched and waited forever for this place to open. Always excited to try the new place I hopped over here Thursday night on my way to the botanic gardens for Chihuly Nights. It’s a Mongolian Grill like most, order your drinks and soup(for dinner) and get up to make your own dish from the plethora of choices of meats, veggies, noodles and sauces. Meat was thinly sliced and was on par with other places, they had an assortment of fish too and tofu as well. Veggies looked good for the most part. The pineapple was very obviously from a can and quite pale looking. Water chestnuts didn’t look much better. The guys doing the grilling that night weren’t paying a lot of attention. They pulled an order off the grill out of order leading to someone taking the wrong food away. Food was tasty, but really nothing fantastic. They have some nice looking dessert options but I honestly didn’t have them to try them this time. Forgot to mention: they DONOT allow you to take leftovers with you, because they allow you more than one trip to the food bar they say.
