DONOTORDERFROMSONICSENSE!!! Their website took my order and immediatly charged my credit card. My order never shipped, their phone is out of service, and they do not respond to emails requesting to cancel and reverse the charges. It appears the lights are on, but no one is home.

great price but they have more excuses as to why they cant ship an item. I have waited a month for an item that was going to ship in 3 weeks and now they say it will be another 3 weeks before they can get my item and ship it. Must be waiting for one to fall off of a truck somewhere. They were very quick in charging my credit card but still no product!

I called in to order a custom package, and they were fantastic in getting a good price. They also threw in some extras as well as free shipping. Great value. When I noticed a defect in the keyboard I ordered, they sent me a new one no questions asked. They even threw in some extra cables for my studio, which was very generous. Overall I would definitely do business with them again. Great value, professional customer service, prompt free shipping, and great products.

Great selections at unbeatable prices that even Guitar Center couldn’t match. I bought my Roland GR-55 based on Rob Marcello’s on-site demonstration. They were prompt and kept me posted through e-mail regarding the purchase. Initially it was back-ordered for a long while and I ended up canceling almost two months later. But things worked out well the second time when I re-ordered, price went even lower and lucky me; Roland had drop-shipped some stock and my order was processed. Same-day shipping and the unit arrived ‘double-boxed’ in new condition via Free UPS Ground in 3 days. Now if you’ll excuse me I have an album to record on a deadline.

Unfortunately, terrible customer service and damaged carton items, so the slightly lower prices aren’t close to being worth the hassle. When I received the $ 1000 shipment, the outer carton was fine, but upon opening the outer carton, the inner, manufacturer carton looked like it have been dropped from a second-story window. The first person I contacted, Brian, told me, in essence, «We shipped a new unit, take it up with UPS.» The second person, Garrett, was a bit more reasonable, but basically said, «if you send it back and we determine it has been damaged, we’ll send you a new one.» These are sensitive electronics clearly exposed to extreme shock. Just because it powers on doesn’t mean it is fine. You would have to take the unit apart and spend a couple hours with a multitester to make sure there was no internal damage. I’m not interested in having a purportedly brand-new electronic device serviced. I’ll be returning it, and ponying up the extra $ 40(4%) to go with someplace I know I can trust and won’t sell me stuff that fell off the back of a truck.

Purchased nearly $ 1000.00 of equipment through these guys. When the shipment came in it was missing an item. It would have been an easy fix. They initially said they would send the missing item and then they stopped communicating. Definitely would not deal with this company. As I have read other reviews, this is not out of the ordinary. Stay away.

Ah, Christmas eve without my christmas order in hand thanks to these guys. They waited 48 hours to ship my package, thus rendering my work mailing address useless. I called to complain and ask that my shipping address be changed, and customer service guy #1 was rude and basically said«we shipped within 48 hours of your order. This is your problem.» I called again and got a different guy who at least obliged with the address change, but was sure to let me know that they were going above and beyond. Due to a UPS snafu, i’m still without my order. I placed this order almost nine days ago. This is ridiculous. Having worked in a retail warehouse environment i never let orders go more than 12 – 24 hours without shipping at any time of year. Merry Christmas, Sonic Sense. This year my gift to myself will be never ordering from you again.

Bought a beyerdynamic dt250 headphone from them. competitive price for members, fast shipping, and very easy to deal with. I called for the availability of the headphone and they are out. Not only they back ordered one for me but also matched the lower price of a similar model(80ohm version). Nothing is better than talking to a real person and he gave you a great deal. $ 40 cheaper than amazon. Don’t know why the poor reviews. Maybe they improved. Keep up the good work.

Like the next reviewer, that low price online tempted me to buy. I should have read her review first. I too dealt with Tanner. I put in a order for two items. I called first to find out if the items were in stock and I was assured they were. In fact, I was told they would be shipped within 48 hours. I expected a tracking number two days later. Nothing. Maybe it took an extra day. Nope. Finally I called to find out if I could get a tracking number. «Oh we’re out of stock. We’ll have to drop ship both from the manufacturer.» I told them I would be at a particular address for only two more weeks. «No problem.» Problem. I had to call them back again in a week and a half to get the tracking number. They didn’t bother sending it to me. I called and found out it was to be delivered after the date I said it couldn’t be delivered. At this point I wrote the GM and the«owner» and was assured this was a freak occurrence. I had to harass them continually to get the shipping changed to a different address. I expected some attention for the second part of my order. Same EXACT song and dance. Over a month after I ordered from them, I cancelled my order. Never received the second piece of gear. Unbelievably incompetent.

I found Sonic Sense to have the lowest price on a part I needed. I ordered the merchandise through their website and was emailed a receipt stating that the transaction was complete and the merchandise would be shipped directly from the manufacturer. Four days later I received an email from Tanner at Sonic Sense telling me that I needed to cough up another ~$ 97 if I wanted the merchandise. I was expecting the item to be delivered, not a shakedown. Be wary of their«bait and switch» online pricing. He did refund my money eventually but I really just wanted the part I ordered. Now there isn’t time(two days before new years, and I need the part to make a necessary repair prior to a large event) to order one from somewhere else. Thanks a lot guys. Way to do business.
