It’s Guy again with another review of a business I used do business with for my flag buying needs. What I mean by this is I used to go to AAA Flag & Banner when it used to be on Vine Ave. & De Longpre Ave. in Hollywood. This was about 15 years ago and then that store went out of business. It eventually moved to La Brea Ave & Melrose Ave. and it also went out of business. It was at these two locations that I was able to buy the waterproof vinyl decal sticker flags for my cars. They used to have a carousel with many different national flag stickers to choose from. I would buy the American, British, Italian, & Armenian sticker flags. American for MYCOUNTRY, British in memory of my departed mother, Italian for where I came from at birth, and Armenian in support of my roommate and his country. When I found the flag store in Van Nuys, Ca, I was hoping that they would also carry the national sticker flags as they did at the other locations. I parked on the street at a meter that still had 11 minutes on it from the previous person that parked there. So that I wouldn’t get a parking ticket and I had no change in my pocket, I was forced to use my debit card and pay full price of $ 2 for a very short visit at the store. I walked in the flag store and there was a guy working there in the front. He was pleasant and helpful. When I asked if they carried what I was looking for, all the store had to offer me was the American flag in the sticker form. I was informed that they no longer carried those national flags but only the US flag, thinking that it was for that store only. I did purchase two for a total of $ 7.63, being the .63 was the tax. I used my debit card got my stickers and left to get back to my car. I was there for less than ten minutes. After I saw that I wasted $ 2, I was a bit annoyed for the cost of the short time parked in that spot. Then I returned home disappointed. Even though they did not carry what I was looking for, they still had a lot of other items for sale and at least the store was clean and organized. Today however, I went on line and called the other remaining AAA Flag & Banner stores on the west side of Los Angeles. I asked if they carried the national sticker flags. Each person that answered the phone and I spoke with said they did not carry those types of flags any longer. I was very disappointed because I always knew where I could go and buy these flags anytime I ran out. I should have bought them in bulk when they used to carry them way back then. So if you are looking to buy sticker flags of different countries, YOUWILLNOTFINDTHEM at this business. I am not saying that this business is bad or no good, because they do have a lot more items you can find and use depending on what you’re looking for. Thank you and hope this review is helpful.

Way overcharged. I first called to see if the had American flags in stock, Nd was told that the 3×5 Annin Polyester flag was $ 40. I get there and then was told that it was $ 55 and was told the price I was quoted was for the nylon flag, so I bought it. I get home, look it up on line, and yep, I was ripped off. It retails for $ 40, and can get it way cheaper than that at Amazon. Well they just lost me and my business.

Ramon was very knowledgable and helpful with my flag needs. I have been searching for a specific size flag for a week now, and finally found it here at AAA flags. They have a large selection of sizes and materials. It was worth the 30 minute drive here. Originally I left a bad review due to this location closing early, but truly went above and beyond once they reopened for business the next day.
