I have been coming here for alterations since 2010 and I have never had a unsatisfactory experience. Anthony is very friendly and nice with no bad attitude whatsoever. I usually just drop in without notice and he always greets me with a smile and patiently does the measuring. He is very flexible and tries to accommodate. He pretty much always gets the alterations done as quickly as I need them. I was here again last week with 4 pairs of jeans to be altered. He asked if I wanted original stitches($ 15 per pair) or non-original($ 10 per pair) and I told him the latter is fine with me. When I went back to pick up my jeans, he had done ALLFOUR pairs with original stitches because he realized the jeans wouldn’t look right without them. He charged me only $ 40 instead of $ 60. What a nice honest guy! I will be coming back for all future tailoring needs for sure!

What the f*ck? Okay, look, normally I am totally opposed to people writing reviews about places they haven’t been. I think it cheapens the quality of the reviews, the site and mankind. Okay, that might be a little harsh, but it bugs me. However, I cannot go another minute without reporting what I saw today and lemme tell ya, it was enough to warrant a review and definitely further investigation, so I promise to revise. Okay? Cool… So, I am driving down Ventura Blvd for the 8th time today and traffic is no bueno. I’m stopped on Ventura and I decide to look at businesses, I see a few that I’ve Unilocaled and then, seriously, I had a total, «What the f*ck moment?!» Anthony the custom shirt maker, makes shirts that are patchwork dress shirts?! You know like all kinds of striped dress shirts going every which way. Like the fabric store exploded and out came this shirt. I’m sure, he makes a fine variety of other shirts, but Anthony, come on, why on Fashion God’s Green Earth would you put that monstrosity in your window to represent your fashion contribution to the tailoring world? It was like Raggedy Ann smoked some crack, dropped some acid, did a line and drank one of the energy drinks that I am currently drinking that is making me feel like I should be wearing acid wash jeans and a t-shirt with the sleeves cut out as I’m not sleeping for 3 days and cleaning my house incessantly. I don’t get it and I hope for your sake, nobody gets that shirt either, but the other shirts looked fine, so go for it, I just think, ditch that scary thing as first impressions are key and I just about changed the lock!
