Had to run in a few weeks ago to find something for a funeral for my wife and not only was the staff incredibly helpful, they also showed incredible sympathy for the situation. Knowing nothing about shopping for women’s clothes, the saleswomen were great and worked together to help me and the manager made sure everything went smoothly. Great experience!

I walked by the store and noticed the hat rack had a 70% off. So I went in, tried the hat I liked and decided to buy it, come to find out the one I chose isn’t apart of the sale items. The sales associates gave me an attitude, and I asked why are they all placed there if the discount doesn’t apply to it? She said we made a mistake. So I expected on their behalf to honor the discount because I was such a loyal customer, but they didn’t and said would you still like it, it’s also not refundable. I told them I’m going to go look somewhere else, and came back after 10mins since I really did like the hat after all even tough it cost $ 85.00 and I bought it at full price and noticed they had removed all the others like it off the rack and put it behind the counter, this just proved to me they didn’t want to get in trouble. I was pissed off afterwards. Wished I hadn’t purchased it just because of my experience. I honestly will never step my foot in there again, I found a better spot to shop anyway. «J. Crew.»

I love BCBG. I love it so much that yearly I spend thousands of dollars on clothes. I love the Sherman Oaks store. I find the staff amazing and friendly. HOWEVER — I am completely disappointed with company policy of online returns. For my birthday 11÷23÷14 my mother bought me(ATFULLPRICE) an outfit. I didn’t like the top. We went in yesterday 11÷30÷14(a week later) to EXCHANGE not even return — but EXCHANGE the top for something else. I was told that it was company policy that online purchases cannot be returned to the store but since I am a loyal customer I can exchange it for something else. I found one top and it was $ 100 less than the amount of the original top. I couldn’t find anything ATTHISTIME to add up to the $ 300 the top cost so I asked for store credit. They would not allow it. We wound up taking the original top home to return to the online department. I find it completely ridiculous that BCBG company policy makes it so difficult to return items. It was brand new. It was never worn. It still had the tags on it and we had the receipt. There is no reason that we had to be inconvenienced like that. We will NOT be exchanging it for something else online. To me — that condones very poor business practice.

The return policy here is ridiculous. Ten days for store credit ONLY. No returns. Not THIRTY days as any other established designer would allow, AND, here’s the hardest part… unworn items WITH tags that are defective, are not returnable/exchangeable/or available for store credit. I was told this yesterday when I tried to get store credit for a $ 150 pair of stretch pants yesterday… BCBG has lost a long time fan. My first return experience with them in the 15 years I have been wearing their clothes was atrocious. I’m never going back. :(

Horrible service!!! I went in to buy a leather jacket I saw online and from the second I walked in to when I left I’ve never felt so ignored. One of the workers walked right into me and didn’t even acknowledge me and just hurried back to her customer. Never will I go back and you shouldn’t either!!! They don’t deserve any stars

Not going back. Came there for a specific pair of shoes, that I would otherwise order online, if I was more sure about the size. Especially with the ongoing sale, I really wanted them… But the attitude I got from these chicks absolutely spoiled my mood and… I changed my mind. I was taking the shoes off getting ready to take them to the counter even though I still was in a tiny little doubt because of a small detail I didn’t like about them. And here she finally remembered about me: «So are we in love?» I said I love the shoes a lot, but there’s «this» and«that»… — basically all I needed was a little reassurance that it’s not a big deal and they still look pretty on and stuff… but instead she made a face and fended off: «That’s weird». I put the shoes on the counter, stood there for like 10 more minutes in hope ANYBODY offers me something else, or says ANYTHING… and left. Ugh, okay, well, I’ll just keep this money and buy another pair of Louboutins a little sooner than I planned =)

The first two sales associates that helped me were so helpful in helping me pick out a dress for my 30th birthday. But the night of my birthday the dress had snags all over it that I did not see when I bought the dress. I unfortunetly was not able to wear the dress that night in fear of making it worse. I took the dress back a couple days later and wanted the same dress and was willing to do an even exchange and the manager there was beyond rude. She told me that they do a sweep of their store every night and none of there dresses have these issues. She refused to take my dress back and said that I had caused the damage and I would have to eat the money that I had spent on this dress. Worst customer service I have ever had. I got the name of the store manager and I plan to take it up the issue with her.

Ok, so things to note, first my wife loves BCBG, and second, she used to work for the company, albeit at a different location. This location is the closest to our house, and it is just a joke. Horrible customer service, and the place is a mess, not even close to the standards the company is supposed to have. Go find a different BCBG location to shop at, there are plenty…

Want to be treated like a 13 year old criminal? Step right up and try to exchange your Christmas gift here! My husband bought me a beautiful top from this store as a Christmas gift. On New Years Eve, I put the top on for the 1st time. It fit perfectly, so I grabbed the scissors and cut the plastic cord holding the tag. As I studied my image more carefully in the mirror, I realized that the poofy pleats just under the bodice created a very unflattering look. I am NOT overweight, but even a virtual bone rack would look 8 weeks pregnant in this top. So I immediately placed the top back in the gift box along with the detached tag. Tonight(1 week later) I went to the store to exchange the top. I had the tag, the receipt, the box, bag, and tissue paper. The detached tag received a big«OOOOOH.» There were 2 salespeople examining the item with all their powers minus a flashlight and microscope. The guy immediately turned the armpits inside out to search for any traces of deodorant. OMG, there was a faint trace of white film! Could it have been from the minute or two that I had it on? Or was it from someone else who tried it on before my husband purchased it? The guy said, «Oh, well I cannot resell this item!» BS. And as if that public humiliation wasn’t enough, the female salesperson started flipping it all around looking for tiny snags. She pointed out a tiny mark on the inside neckline that(you got it) my husband pointed out to me when I opened the gift. The original salesperson had pointed that out to him. I told them this, but they didn’t care. The female just kept looking for more snags in other areas. Then the guy said«gee, if it was 1 week earlier, I would exchange it for you. But here it is, January 8 and this was… a Christmas gift.» Hello, I do not think that 13 days after receipt of a Christmas gift is unreasonable! I absolutely did not wear the top. I feel that their snooty attitude was quite accusing. I have been on this Earth for many decades, and I have never been treated so poorly in a retail store. Ever. Since it was clear that they were wasting not only my time but also my patience, I finally said«you guys ____and I will never ever shop here. Horrible customer service.» I had to leave as an unsatisfied customer with the item I sought to exchange. My advice: do NOT cut off the tag; try the item on over a body glove; exchange the item within 10 days; do not shop here, especially if it is a gift; hope that the designer will examine the policy and attitude permeating his retail stores.
