Found out this restaurant is closing down. So I don’t know what more people need to stay away

I’m not going to rate the establishment per se because I’ve never been in. I do wish Peter and family all the best. That said, I live in the building behind Cordiale and have so for many years. It has been pleasantly quiet the last couple of weekends, and I almost don’t know what to do with myself without screaming drunk people in the parking lot for two+ hours at ½AM, or watching people snort coke, smoke weed, or screw in the front seat in full view of my balcony. It was never a total lame. After a while, I accepted it, and my friends and I would just plan on standing on the balcony like Waldorf & Stadler at those hours, mocking people as they stumbled to their cars, or stood in the parking lot for an hour talking over one another to the point of shrieking. I get it. People come out to have a good time. And Peter was always very good about coming out and telling folks to be quiet. But don’t fault me for not being upset that it’s no longer around for that reason alone. I can only hope that another«nightlife» spot doesn’t move in, in lieu of a daily business. When you’re out and about, be a good human being, and recognize that when you’re screaming across a parking lot, telling your drunk friends to meet you at Mel’s, there might be a family of [sleeping] kids nearby.

I’m sad. I’ve been here a few times… it’s been a couple of years, but I loved this place. I wanted to come here for my birthday this year(in June). Well… best of luck to the old owners & congrats on your retirement.

Love Café Cordial! the food is good the parking is good the service is good and the music is always on point. I heard that they are selling to a different owner so it may change the music there so you would need to check but the couple of times that I went there it was a really really fun experience.

Absolutely love to come and eat here. Delicious foods, great drinks and amazing talented live jazz, funk, r&b and Latin music. The best restaurant with no cover and after 10pm feels like a classy upscale club as you stand and get your groove on right where you are!!! The owner has decided to sell after 30yrs so there’s only a few weeks left to go! Make sure you make dinner reservations and if u miss the reservations just stop by, order and drink and groove out with the rest of the crowd!!! ******MASTA is my favorite performer******* All others are good as well however MASTA is amazing!

Good vibe tonight. At least when we walked in. Big breaks in music were a little disappointing, but during those we were entertained by a great shrimp and scallop salad, along with a guacamole and chips. Good evening!

I don’t know about food but this is my place to hang out and listen som GOODMUSIC. You can meet the best musicians here and listen some quality music. I don’t care about kitchen because I’m here for music. The bartender definitely needs to LEARN a lot. I’m not a wine drinker but I alway order wine because it’s only the good drink I can order. I went last night for St Pattys Day. #luckofthelatins I had the soup(Lentil) which was really good. Everyone loved the food. The live music was amazing. Latin. Ronnie G. And Rick Braun. Im sad to learn the place was sold and the new owners no longer want live music… BOOOOOOO … I think that is the best part of this place… Anyway, I doubt I will be back, unless there is music.

Even if they served crap as spread, I would still give this place 5 stars because of Margaret. The sweetest, cutest and sincerest hostess who’s co-owns with her husband just made our Sunday brunch so memorable. It really was like going to your grandmas house since she took care of us as though we were her grandchildren. The food was good and the happy hour was great! You can sign up for their events if you do plan on going there for special events.

Extremely loud Resturant. The band was great but it was so loud that i literally wanted to just leave the place. The service was beyond horrible. It took our waiter 45 mins exactly to bring us our drinks. I had to tell other waiters to bring us extra utensils, or to even order food. I ordered the tilapia with vegetables which was good. After dinner we ordered tea & their rice pudding dessert. It took them 30 minutes just for the tea. I do not recommend this Resturant. It was a little crowded which might have been the reason.

Just a great spot for live music and talented musicians. This place has good food with an excellent menu, The prices are fair no cover no minimum staff has wonderful attitudes. But back to the music, it’s great, it’s nonstop, and on Tuesday it’s an all night jam session going way past midnight.

Café Cordial is truly one of my favorite places to go to when I’m in town. It can get a bit busy and crowded so if you want a table instead of the lounge, reservations are recommended. The great thing about this place is that you can have a great dinner while listening to some amazing music. You never know who will be sitting right beside you, usually some awesome musician who wants to hear other awesome musicians. The food is also on point. I honestly crave their warm scallop/shrimp, avocado, asparagus salad. I usually always order this and I’m never disappointed. My husband has ordered many of the pasta dishes and has been content with them. Peter the owner has always welcomed us and made sure we are taken care of. I must say I have never been disappointed here and will always keep coming back. Alot of my friends and a few family members have performed here and with the nice setting it has always been an above average experience in fact I should say an excellent experience! Thanks Café Cordial for all the fun memories and great times I’ve had here! Great food, Amazing music, and awesome customer service!

Took my boyfriend here last Friday to top off date night with dessert, drinks, and dancing to the live band. The atmosphere was amazing, the Irish coffee was strong, and the music was great! I was referred here by a coworker and will definitely be coming back on a Saturday night to check out the band that plays that night.

Peter and his staff are professional and very warm. Thank you Peter for being so hospitable, we love you and your crew. The deco is off the chain. Deco via London style by way of California. We love IT!

Music 5 Drinks 4 Food 1.5 This is a nice small venue for a good night out without having to drive a major distance. The food leaves a lot to be desired. For the prices they charge drinks range $ 8-$ 11 which is normal, The food items average $ 12-$ 20, I have been on several occasions and I have not had a satisfactory meal to date, they really need a better chef in the back. The live bands are always fantastic, I enjoy the music every time I have been there.

WEEKDAYLUNCH — GLUTEN-FREE It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we came for a work luncheon. The hostess which is also co-owner is delightful! She told us the entire history of her life with her husband and their multiple restaurants, as well as life experiences. She made a few suggestions for their GF patrons, as they have well versed recipe cards for each menu item. She also came by to ask us what we thought of our food, with her long-winded responses, it still was a fabulous experience, overall. SUGGESTION: pretend it isn’t your first time! :) There is parking in the back, which is extremely helpful for this side of town! I think I got a salad & the fries! Everyone in our 6 person party enjoyed their lunch choices! Then for dessert, I got fruit with whipped cream. I didn’t think the berries were fresh at all, I may have even seen some moldy fuzz, but they make their WC in house & that was fabulous! I would love to check this place out in the evenings when they offer live jazz music :)

Came here with my family to celebrate some birthdays. In short; we loved it. The atmosphere was very nice. Classy and clean without feeling pretentious and snooty. The food was incredible from the way it looked to the way it tasted. No one at the table was disappointed. What we got: Appetizers: Potato Chips and Ranch, and Chips and Guacamole(all home made and delicious) Entrees: Flat Iron Steak, garlic chicken pasta, NY strip and lobster, spicy cashew chicken, and herb chicken. All A+ meals. We were told that everything is made in house and it really shows. Absolutely no complaints. The service was great. Irma did a great job and They have separate staff to make sure your drinks stay full even if your server is busy. The only bummer is that we went on a Monday so there was no music, but we knew that coming in. If you’re still reading, good for you. Cause I have to tell you how incredible the deserts were. Between the four of us we pretty much got one of everything and it would be impossible to tell you which was best. If you eat here, get at least one desert. You won’t regret it. –Travis
