OH MY SMOKES!
This event was SMOKING hot! My tummy DID NOT go empty handed. I got two plates of food people. YUP, TWO! My carnivore plate with some BBQ ribs and chicken wings and thighs with some delicious mac and cheese, cream corned and free drinks! I also had the vegetarian plate that was sooooooo good!
I thank the Unilocal gods for letting me be an elite and providing us Unilocalers with delicious meals!

Cowboys or Aliens? Unilocal has taught us that Cowboys eat and Aliens drink, so how about both?
Food, drinks, more food, photo props and entertainment in the form of an eating contest would make any real cowboy (or cowgirl) envious of how Unilocal spoils us.
The Cowboy version of this event featured massive amounts of food, as Smoke City Market gave everyone a full plate of food:
. Wow! They even had a vegetarian plate full of veggie sides,
I found quite amazing for a meaty joint! Among the typical sides like cole slaw, there was a delicious potato salad which even the meat lovers loved. We each got two beer tickets as well, so no Cowboys went thirsty.
It was great to see so many people dressed up, I guess Cowboy gear is pretty easy to pull out of most closets (while the same might not be true for other things in the closet hee hee), and fit the restaurant theme pretty well! Katie did an awesome job creating and finding props for the event and making a photo booth frame! Somehow, watching the eating contest was amusing while simultaneously revolting, but still entertaining.
Thanks to Smoke City Market for closing for a couple of hours and providing us with friendly service, tons of food, and especially being so vegetarian friendly! Thanks to Katie and Christina for a fun event!
