Very loose footing through the trail. Much of the trail is over grown, a rockslide covered part of the trail and only way to cross was to aim high and go across hopefully making it across the trail without sliding down the entire canyon. I hike often and much of this trail made me nervous. It was very short though, only took about 15 mins to loop around. I did see many lizards, birds, and deer. Afterwards, I wondered up the street through a construction zone and up an undeveloped dirt road that showed amazing views of the city/mountains.

This hike is an extremely short loop, probably 15 minutes max. I would not recommend this trail unless you lived right down the street or fairly close by. The parking is very limited. I would recommend Fryman Canyon’s rainforest trail because it was similar but you got more of a hike.

I did not feel comfortable takeing the trip all the way to the end because of insecure footing towards the end.

This is a small hidden«park» at the end of a residential street. It consists of a 0.8 mile loop dirt trail, about 1 foot wide, partially up a ravine before looping around and back down. When you reach the bridge, don’t cross it. Instead, turn right and go up the hill. You’ll eventually end up coming back down via the trail on the other side of this bridge. Completely forested with no lookout spots, but it is really pretty and smells wonderful. The trail is partially washed out in a ½ dozen spots, but footing is still secure. The Sweetie, however, freaked out about several of the steep drop-offs. I would recommend wearing long pants as the grass is a bit overgrown and there is a lot of what I think is poison oak growing near(but, fortunately, not on) the trails. This would probably NOT be a good trail for kids, great-grandmas, or dogs.
