Unfortunately this location has just recently closed permanently. Sad… because they had very good New York pizza. However, the news isn’t all bad. When you call their phone number, there is a recorded message saying they plan to open a brick and mortar store in Sherman Oaks in the near future.

I used to order on the phone on the way home from work so the delivery would get there right as I got home. They no longer accept phone orders, so now that option is gone. Since they’ve changed their ordering to online only, now they say my home is out of their range. It’s two miles away. I’ve ordered over 25 pizzas(with a $ 5 tip each time). Bye Joe’s, you’ve lost my business

With everyplace advertising and boasting that their pizza tastes just like“NY”, I was skeptical to try this place. I got a slice of cheese pizza and with one bite I felt like I was enjoying a slice straight out of New York. Don’t listen to all the other places. If you want a true slice of NY pizza, Joe’s is the place to go.

Delivery service is terrible. We have been waiting for over an hour and twenty minutes and we live around the corner from the location.

My fiancée is an East Coaster and swears by this pizza. I’m not a big marinara fan, but there’s is delicious and light, plus they don’t kill you with cheese.

Ok, really good pizza but sooo hard to get! It always has been difficult to reach them but now they don’t take phone orders. You need to go through EatLA. I hate using those services as they only seem to add time and the food doesn’t arrive as fresh but I took a chance tonight. I ordered online then got a call ten minutes later telling me they couldn’t fulfill order. They told me the fax was down at the restaurant. I asked for them to just call it in, but the restaurant would not accept the phone order. I’m annoyed!

While I like the pizza they have misleading special that while minor is still misleading. They advertise a lunch special one slice and a drink lunch for $ 3.99. But then when you go to pay it is near $ 7.00 for a slice and soda. They tell you this a promotion is for kids only. The sign does not make this clear and they should try to avoid misleading their customers. The guy behind the counter knew it was unclear when questioned but he made it clear he just works there. Obviously this promotion has misled many. Disappointed in this place!

Always on the hunt for a good NY style pizza, and looks like I found it. This place so far has the best NY style pizza I’ve eaten while in the LA area. I grew up in Jersey, and this place nailed it… Awesone food, I’ll continue to eat pizza at this place only. Thanks

This is my all time favorite pizza, if i could afford it, I’d buy the whole pizza. I’ve never been one for thin crust pizza, but I didn’t want Stone Oven AGAIN(still good but I had a phase, which then moved to Joe’s), so I tried it, got a pepperoni pizza, and my mom wanted to try the White Pizza and both are AMAZING. It’s always perfectly crispy and the pizza sauce is a little sweet, the white pizza has clouds of ricotta cheese and the perfect amount of garlic! I even built up the guts to go out of my comfort zone and trie blue cheese, which is on the BBQ Chicken pizza, and it was good the first time, but the second time was too much BBQ. But the classic pepperoni is where my heart is and will forever stay. Service is always nice and friendly(:

Nearly $ 6 for a slice!!! Sign says $ 3.99 with a drink but that is for cheese or plain pepperoni. So I ordered meatballs only for my granddaughter. Server and helpers did not look at me once. I waited and waited. The meatballs were raw inside.

Best damn mall pizza I ever had! Broke my diet for this place and it was totally worth it! Order a whole pie because it always comes out better than re-heated slices. I ordered a large pepperoni pie and it was greasy bliss! They have packets of parm and crushed pepper but grab the glass dispensers at the front. They also have a little shaker of garlic powder so you’ll feel like your back home in NY! Enjoy!

This pizza is yummy. I ordered a slice white pizza, a slice grandma pizza, and slice pepperoni pizza right when they opened today and they made it fresh. The most impressive thing about the pizza was the crust. The crust was so crispy and soft. That is leaps and bounds above other so called New York pizza joints scattered around Los Angeles that have chewy, hard crusts that make your jaw sore after eating it. The sauce on the grandma pizza was runny but delicious. The pepperoni pizza was good too; just the standard pepperoni pizza. The guys that work at this spot are great too. Super nice and focused on customer service. I will return and recommend to others for sure.

Been a huge supporter and spokesman for Hoes Pizza. Being from NY and always searching for that amazing slice here in LA… joes was my destination. After years of delivery from the sunset location and the Sherman Oaks location, I have now been told my address is .2 miles outside the delivery radius and even though I have been a great customer… they won’t deliver. Way to be loyal to your customers. F THISPLACE!

Ordered a regular pie well done and this location can’t even get that right. Disgusting pizza, what a shame Lack of sauce to being super doughy. Never ever again At least the Hollywood location knows what they are doing.

The Pepperoni Pizza that I had was good. It is a very classic style of pizza. I have gotten into more of the artisan pizza as of late by going to 800 degrees or Blaze but I thought it tasted very fresh. When I have a party and need to serve pizza we’ll probably order from here.

It seems that things have gone downhill since my last visit as follows: 1. You can only get a combo with pepperoni pizza. Instead of paying $ 3.99 for a combo I ended up paying $ 6.00 plus tip for one slice with Buffalo mozzarella and a small soda. 2. When the girl carried my slice to the oven she carried it with a spatula that wasn’t big enough so she had to hold one side in her hand. I don’t have a lot of faith in the fact that her hands were clean. 2. Part of my slice of pizza disappeared in the pizza oven and I wasn’t offerred another slice. 3. When I received my slice one corner of my pizza was leaning against the tray that we all know isn’t the cleanest thing. 4. The paper plates aren’t big enough for the slice of pizza. I think the staff needs better training and they need to invest in a bigger spatula and paper plate.

Ordered the Caprese pizza, just about the blandest, lazziest, worst pizza I’ve ever had. Tasted like a slab of pilot bread with a can of stewed tomatoes dumped on top, hardly any cheese to speak of, and all of the toppings slid off with every bite making it not only bad tasting but also incredibly messy and frustrating. Garlic bites were terrible too, just tasted like regular bread with some greasy butter brushed on top. Theres just no reason to sacrifice and order from this place, not worth it.

Looking for New York pizza in L.A. Me too. Who would have thought I’d find it in a trendy mall next to the Wet Seal? If you’re man enough to enjoy a restaurant located in the food court of a fashion mall, then Joe’s Pizza is the place. Tasty, thin triangles of goodness await, featuring a crust with the structural integrity not to droop unless the drive home is too long. But who are we kidding? If you’re heading to the car with a few slices, you’ll be left with a box of abandoned crusts by the time you pass Forever 21.
