Join The Band Music Lessons Studio

This is by far the best thing I’ve ever done for my kids.
I wish they had something like this when I was a kid.
As a musician myself I know the value of music and the effect it has on young minds. To this day there are very few things that bring me more joy than playing music in a group.
Join the band has been an essential part of BOTH of my kids’ lives.
We started small with just lessons. That expanded into a band program which is UNBELIEVABLE. Both my kids love it. We even ended up signing up for the summer session, If you want to test the waters, try a summer session. Monday the kids join a band. Friday they perform AS a band. It’s intensive, but the results are astounding. Both of my kids wanted to take multiple summer sessions. Then we signed up for the school year band program. This is our third year and we plan to continue.

THE FACILITY: Totally professional, CLEAN and friendly. My kids refer to it as their 3^rd home. 1^st is our house, 2^nd is grandma’s, 3^rd is Join The Band.
THE STAFF: The owners are amazing — super efficient, down to earth and really nice. How they manage to organize the multiple lessons and band schedules is beyond me. The teachers and office staff are super friendly and well-​trained.
Like I said, we started slow. But we ended up dropping our other after school programs for JTB. Now our kids each take multiple lessons. They are both in bands, and one is in choir.
We had them in other music lessons elsewhere, but it simply didn’t compare to the JTB program
The results speak for themselves. My kids are playing music… together. What’s better than that? Not much.

All my three kids have been intermittently going to Join the Band for 4 years now playing drums, violin, piano, and vocals. I cannot speak more highly of their classes! The teachers are VERY patient, and have given my children the gift of music! It’s a «Can Do» environment where my kids have experienced performing live in front of a crowd and gaining confidence. Even if they don’t decide to be musicians in the future, I’m happy they will always be able to enjoy playing music for pleasure and I know the experience will help them become better public speakers. Kudos to John and Lynn Mizenko for developing this program, Rosh and Ryan (band leaders) who are as patient as saints, and Trent who takes customer service to a new level!

We send our kids here for piano lessons. Great instructors, great vibe, nice and clean rooms. Love it.

JTB — is an amazing place! My son has been playing in a band at Join the Band since 2009. Not only has he gained confidence, experience, and tools to help him continue on his journey as a drummer, he has made amazing friends. JTB had been a unique and wonderful experience that any aspiring musician should have. The teachers and band leaders are amazing! John and Lynn Mizenko are fantastic people who really take time and care to make sure all the kids in the program have an amazing experience. Thank you JTB for everything!

Great place for all the kids in the family to get whatever music lessons they like, all in one place. A bunch of different rooms, each room teaches a specific musical instrument. My daughter takes piano and her brother takes guitar lessons. Great teachers, monthly fun activities, and performances!

This is such an awesome place, my son takes guitar lessons here and absolutely loves it! Ryan is his instructor and he is amazing and super sweet! Trent is also amazing and very accommodating with our schedule and anything we need. Overall I am very happy with the service and kindness these guys offer:)

My youngest daughter had an assembly at her school featuring Join The Band. Shortly after that, I saw them on Good Day LA and asked my daughter if she was interested in checking them out. She said she would and we did. That was 4 years ago. She loves it! She is in a band and also is taking songwriting classes. She is getting so much out of this experience and she always looks forward to the next session.
My older daughter is now taking flute lessons at JTB and is having a blast! This has been a great experience for our family. I fully recommend JTB!
