Nice and professional instructors, you can see the children advancing there skills week by week, nice environment.

First of all, let me say that my six year old loves to draw and she has learned so much in her two months already! She looks forward to class every week and shows off her work so proudly to all family and friends.
Secondly, and very important for me as well, is that the teachers and staff are extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating. There is a strict class makeup policy which has been fine for me. The manager of the Sherman Oaks location has been very kind and helpful in trying to fit us into makeup sessions. If you get in touch ahead of time, they are very very accommodating.
We look forward to a long relationship with KidsArt.

Both of my sons go to KidsArt in Sherman Oaks. This is such a amazing place for the kids who really enjoy to draw. Every time they go, they always come back with the big smile and feel inspired to do more arts at home. Even my younger one who is 6 years old, usually very active at home, can sit in their 1 ½ hour class, that is almost impossible for him to do at home except when he is on his video games (I hate to let him glue on the game for so long though). I am not expecting my kids to be artists but I want them to enjoy art, drawing and appreciate their own ability to draw. So I feel this place is perfect for them. Also, Sara and Joey are AMAZING with the kids. They are very patient with the kids. My boys LOVE Joey as well. I highly recommend this place for the kids.

My son has been at KidsArt Sherman Oaks for a little over a year and everyone is amazed by the awesome progress he has made and the techniques he has mastered in such a short time. We love our teachers and plan to stay here for continued education as long as possible. Keep up the great work guys!

My children have been attending for two years and they still look forward to every class! The teachers are great and very patient, especially Kay, Sara, Keika and Joey. They learn great technique and it shows when they draw creatively at home and at school. All their school teachers and friends admire their art ability. My kids also attend summer camp as well. I highly recommend it!

Every week he proudly brings home a new piece of artwork. He has worked in pencil, marker, pastels and is currently working in water color.

My daughter Kamryn has been taking classes here for about a year and loves every minute of every class. The entire staff is personable and professional. In a recent Parent/​Teacher conference, the teacher expressed Kamryn’s advanced skills in art and was very impressed.
I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to any of my friends and family.

When my daughter told me that she wanted to learn how to make her art «look real» I signed her up for KidsArt. As I watched her learn and grow in her class, I began to think, «I want to do that too!» So now she and I take class together and I’m having a blast! Each week she and I both learn about drawing realistic pictures, shading, design, perspective, and color. We explore different mediums and each go at our own pace. I find teachers Sara and Joey to be incredibly knowledgable and extraordinary in their own artistic skills. They can immediately tell me why something doesn’t quite look right and are quick to give me support and praise at the same time. That is a combination that leaves all of us students feeling excited, creative and successful. KidsArt has been a weekly joy in our family for quite a long time now and I look forward to many, many more classes to come.

Both of our children attend Kid’s Art in two different age groups (ages 5 and 8). Every time they finish a class they are enthusiastic and inspired. They are immensely proud of their work and can’t wait to return the following week.
Sara and Joey are patient, yet passionate about teaching art. They are very hands-​on with each student.

My two kids (ages 8 and 12) have been going here for several months and we have not had any issues or problems here. The staff is friendly and the kids enjoy going. We pay $ 127 per month, per child.

Just started our little artist at KidsArt. She’s 6 and spends almost all day drawing, or painting, or whatever.
In just the first class they taught her some basics in shading and she really loved it.
Not sure if it’s the place to become a fine artist, sure that takes years, but is an amazing place to see if art is your child’s passion and to nurture their talents.

This is the worst place you can take your kids to. I took my son their to learn how to draw and it was the worst experience I have ever had !!
Let’s begin like this they charge ONE DOLLAR for every min you are late !
Also when kids are done with class parents are suppose to go in and SARA and her ASSISTANT (this guy I fergot his name) will show the pictures of what the kids drew every single class my son had and he had 4 classes they would not show his picture ! So every child picture they would raise it up and everyone would clap when it comes to my son never had it been up and my son draws beautiful !!! I feel like my my son was discriminated and never again will I send him their again !!!
I really don’t recommend anyone to take their kids their trust me !!!

My 12 year old son has been attending weekly classes for the past several months (year?). He loves coming to class and has really learned a lot about technique and and the different art mediums. He is always proud to show us his latest creation and personally, I really enjoy looking in through the window at the class and seeing the looks of intense concentration on the students’ faces. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks

We love KidsArt. My son has been going for about 6 months. It is definitely not a place where they get to create whatever they want – it is very structured and focused on technique. For us, it is a perfect match. He can be told what to do there and then be creative at home. The teachers are very professional and always start and end class exactly on time. They have a set curriculum where, in addition to technique, the students learn proper terminology, set-​up and clean-​up.

If you want your child to do art without creativity, and follow step by step directions, so their art looks EXACTLY like everyone else’s art… then this is the class for you. My kids took an older children’s art class. The youngest was supposedly 7, which is too young to be considered «older». Mine were 12 and 16. Not only did the teacher draw on BOTH the kids’ art, but she told my (16 year old) to do something, and then took her art and erased what she (the teacher!) told her to do. There is no circumstance where a professional should draw on or erase from a child’s signed artwork. Demonstrate, explain, show an example… fine…but not on the kid’s paper. Period. The manager said this was how they teach. I strongly recommend taking the free introductory class before paying. I wish I had. They do have good customer service! The manager was very willing to help me get a refund, and took the time to explain who they teach. Not a match for us.
