Miao Peter V W MD

I’ve been suffering with a chronic cough since last October, and I’m not too big a fan of traditional medicine but now that it’s April I decided enough was enough and I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Miao. He and his staff are very friendly, and you can tell the minute you meet Dr. Miao that he is a very competent and professional doctor. On top of that, i was pleased to discover what a warm and friendly personality he has. He takes the time to make sure you understand what what is going on and the treatments necessary to get back to healthy. I never felt rushed or confused at any point (one of the reasons I don’t like traditional doctors). Dr. Miao is truly a gem, and deserves 6 stars but since there are only 5 that’s what I’m rating him today :) Two things you should know is that they expect payment up front, and if I’m not mistaken, if you have tiered insurance where a specialist has a different rate than a primary care doctor, you are charged the specialist rate (as Dr. Miao is both an internist and specialist in Infectious Diseases). But he’s well worth it in my opinion!
