It is a good store but way to expensive comparing Ralph. Nice, clean but not always have varieties.

Worst customer service! Autumn she’s the supervisor. Not helpful. Not friendly. Either they should close down the store or hire great people to help keep business running.

Ok, so I’ll admit that this store has some opportunities but all grocery stores do. I say to all the patrons that complained about this store, if you’re so dissatisfied with it, shop elsewhere. Go to wholefoods, where everything is overpriced or ralph’s which is overrated. People love to make negative statements online without any regard to how it may effect the employees or the personnel. I shop at this location frequently and I’ve never experienced some of the things mentioned on here. Although this is a franchise, it feels like a neighborhood store. The employees are friendly, helpful and they have put up with some very demanding, sensitive, arrogant customers. So do everyone a favor, the next time you have an unpleasant shopping experience don’t air out all your grievances of this site, just take your money some elsewhere. js

This place has nice people at the registers, they are polite and they greet customers adequately. However, my boyfriend goes there just about every day and has asked repeatedly for fresh baked french bread and they always say they have just run out. He has even said he would buy several if they were to start making more, but they never follow through with making more, it seems. Also, I have purchased avocados there that are bad several times. Next time, I will bring it back for a store refund!

Always long lines because of slow service. The express lanes move slower. Horrible. I avoid coming here if I can because of this.

This Pavillions has some of the nicest employees in the entire chain. Great service, amazing deli department by the way and none of the pretensions of some of it’s other franchises.

I’ve lived by this store for 15 years and it’s still the stinkhole it’s always been. Slatternly staff, flies everywhere(even crawling over the produce, yum!) A few times when I shopped there they’d run out of bags(?) and the manager just stood there directing people to purchase the reusable cloth/plastic ones they had for sale… People, this is NOT how you handle this situation; you phone the closest stores in your chain and you get those supplies lent to you! Many elderly and local customers who walk there were sent away empty-handed if they didn’t buy bags. That was just plain WRONG. Another time a friend was visiting me and went there to buy a few steaks to grill. Unfortunately the manager on duty didn’t pay attention to(or just didn’t care) the butcher staff who informed them that several of the meat refrigeration units were down. THAT day customers were granted a royal case of food poisoning from meat left at room temperature for hours. Seriously. For your own good health, shop somewhere else. BUT! If you want FREE loaves of french bread? DO go here! The chain has a guarantee that if «Bread isn’t fresh and hot at 4PM, 5PM, and 6PM – It’s FREE!» Needless to say it rarely ever is, and their ovens regularly break on the weekends. I only go there for staples so this is perfect. Beware even on the staples though, they aren’t above selling milk past its sell-by date!

this store is filthy, isn’t well stocked, is expensive as it is supposed to be upscale. Management seems to have their hands tied; meat department pitiful. I only go in her on emergencies and it is within walking distance from my home.

Isn’t Pavilions supposed to be a slightly upscale version of Von’s? You wouldn’t know it to step into here. It’s amazing a store this icky can stay open in this part of Sherman Oaks.
