Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Scratched the paint above my doors! It’s less than 6 months old. No they don’t care. They suck big donkey d***!

Could be the worst car wash I’ve ever had… incredibly slow, they missed an immense amount of debris in the vacuum and the Windows look like they’ve been dusted. Really disappointed!

They do a pretty thorough job. I’ve come here a few times and haven’t had any complaints.

Over the Christmas break I took a road trip up to San Francisco with my little 2 and half year old nephew and my favorite sister.
Well, she’s my only sister but I like to call her my favorite.
I feel like it makes her feel a little bit more special.
The drive up was great, which only took 4 & half hour to drive their on Christmas Day at 6am.
But on the way back, my nephew got sick and sadly yes you guessed it…
He threw up not only once but twice.
Once in the seat behind the driver’s seat & the 2^nd in his car seat.
Bottom line, Sherman Oaks Car Wash saved my car and the stench that he blessed onto it.
I got my car thoroughly detailed inside & out for $ 135.
It took 4 – 5 hours where I dropped it off and picked it up when it was done.
Plus, when I brought it back a few days later because there was still a mini lingering smell they were very accommodating to re-​shampoo the seat again with no charge.

Scratched my car and wouldn’t take ownership. Bad attitude and customer service. Shut this place down now!

Really wish I had read the Unilocal review first, but I went here because it’s walking distance from my job.
Let me start off by saying that I drive a FIAT. A tiny little fiat, people… one that requires minimal effort to wash/​vacuum.
As soon as I pulled up, I noticed the place was totally empty so I thought they would have time to do a decent job. I asked for a regular wash, but for them to pay some extra close attention to my back seats when cleaning them. The sales guy says, verbatim, «today we are offering a free wash for all cars…» I cut him off and asked, why? He responded that because it was a slow day and they do that sometimes. Then he proceeded, «we will shampoo and scrub your seats, and the wash will be free… for only $ 45!» I repeated, that I wanted a regular wash, but just to make sure to wash my seats. His behavior immediately shift – he scoffed at me and said, «fine you just want a regular wash then… we can’t do anything with the seats.» he then said something to his co-​worker in a language that I didn’t understand and then told me, «he’d try, but wasn’t sure it would do anything.»
Anyway, when I picked up my car I looked in the back… and not only were my seats not cleaned at all, but they weren’t even vacuumed! It was horrible! I notified the man who had my keys, he then brought a towel and spray bottle to try to fix it… I explained that it needed to be vacuumed. So I drove my car back to the vacuuming area for them to fix their mistake. Then, out of curiosity, I opened my trunk… and to my not so surprise, my trunk wasn’t vacuumed either… AT ALL! Remember, I drive a fiat, the trunk is tiny! There’s not much to vacuum… they clearly didn’t even open it.
I’m so unhappy with the service. When I sat in my car, I noticed they didn’t even wipe the inside, dust and dirt everywhere…
Never coming back here. Which is too bad because it’s so close to work, I could have been a weekly customer.

Have to say that I was less then impressed. I came on an afternoon and they were pretty dead. You would think that this means that they would take the time to clean your car properly right? Wrong. They didn’t fully wipe down the inside windows. I have a streak at the bottom third of my window where you can see that they didn’t clean it. I also had multiple spots on the exterior that they didn’t get off. Their one redeeming quality was that they dressed the inside very well. Not sure I’ll be back. For the price I paid. I should have gotten much better service.

Just got my car detailed on Friday. My car was in good condition everything was working just fine until I got my car back my doors aren’t locking and now my service air bag isn’t working. I went back to see if they can fix it and the manager said its not their responsibility and they did nothing to my car which is false information!!! They had to do something to my car for it having problems now. They are rude people I suggest you go somewhere else.

All the signs post a $ 4.99 express wash but they charge you $ 7.99

First time.
Work in the area, thought I’d take care of last night’s beach romp.
They didn’t even vacuum the trunk!!! (I have a Ford Edge)
This was such an incredible poor job. They didn’t care.
For 15 bucks???
They could have had my business forever. Go elsewhere.

They always do a good job! Great prices and friendly service! I wish they had a location close to West LA. I have to come to the valley to get my car detailed.

This is the only car wash and area is very nice place sometime waiting hour until you get your car because is busy place but you need to ask most clean your car very nice if not is not going to do it

Sorry that other reviewers have had a not so good time here. Friendly, quick, no pressure for update, nicely cleaned. A go-​to place for the quick spruce up. Will see what a full detailing is like later.

Where to begin with this place? I’ll start by saying this is the 3^rd time I’ve gone here for a car wash since its a stones throw from my house. And for the third time I’ve been left EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I’m not a car nut or anything like that, but I do know what good service is. I didn’t get that here.
I asked for package 3, which was 21.99. It was suggested that I pay 30 bucks for their express wash and wax. I had to say no three different times before the guy let off. Went inside the gift shop, and wasn’t greeted with a smile, nor did the lady behind the desk seen all that interested in helping me. I understand waiting for good service, but I waited for 40 min for a car THAT WASNT FULLY WASHED! I’ll never, ever go to this place again. Don’t be fooled by the coupons they may offer, just avoid this place all together. What a joke!

Doesn’t deserve a star. Worst car wash experience ever. Will not come back here again. Clearly my review had an effect since they removed it. NOBODY GO HERE THEY HIT A POLE TRYING TO GET OUT OF THE CAR WASH MACHINE! See last picture

Do not bring your car here. Not worth it at all. Spent $ 30 and my car is still dirty. Told the employee to wipe it down again and he said «it’s good, it’s clean». Clearly to him the dirt and lint left all over is scratches. I grabbed a towel and wiped down the dashboard again in front of him and he was speechless. Clearly this job is too difficult for him to handle.
This car wash needs to step it up for if its impossible for them, they should close.

I came in once because I had a coupon. I just bought a new car and it’s black, so I figured I should start getting my car hand washed because black is a sensitive color. I had plastidipped my emblems and after the wash, my emblems were peeled right off! It was absurd. The manager I complained to pretty much blamed it on me saying it was my fault it came off? He was just completely rude. I was also coerced into getting a clay wax on my car. But the guy who did the wax didn’t do a thorough job so I had to make the drive back for him to redo it. Like cmon I paid good money, I at least deserve to get a complete wax done.
I have come back here a few times after than incident, but every time I leave there’s always water marks or places they forgot to wipe down. And from these other reviews, I will not be continuing my business here again.

I am on my 4^th try here. Only because it’s convenient tho here is my experience.
1^st time got a whole hand wash detail package… it was good not great but good for over a $ 100 car wash.
2^nd time $ 30 something wash & detail was ok dissapointing at best.
3^rd time I told the guy the inside was really dirty and needed a really good inside detailing… and that last time they didn’t do a very good job (you would think that they would try to do better) NO! the outside was fine the inside was so dirty… they didn’t even bother cleaning out the cup holders. I have kids you can imagine. I was so mad I left and went to Handy Js (Don’t go there either. leaving the a crappy review too) because I used to go there a long time ago, and was left wanton. Awful.
4^th time we shall see… i told the guy last two times not so good but am not holding my breath. Will let you know.
Yeah yeah save your breath. shame on me for coming back. Don’t come here… am going to try Robs Car wash next.

Older gentleman did a great job on the inside. So I’m hopeful… still going to try Robs.

I’ve been going here for years and haven’t had an issue with them thus far. They’re a bit on the pricey side, but if you can find a coupon (they get mailed to me in a monthly coupon city pack), it makes it more worth it.
There’s a cute convenient shop to peruse while you wait — so many random & fun gifts!
During peak times, it’s takes a little while so bring something to keep you preoccupied.

THEY CRACKED MY WINDSHIELD.
Let me preface this review by saying I take extremely good care of my car and monitor it closely, always checking for dings and dents. I had just yesterday cleaned my windshield because it was dirty, and there were no issues. Today, I pulled in to have my car cleaned and everything was fine. I noticed my car seemed to take unusually long to get through the wash line, and other cars that left after me emerged before me, but I thought nothing of it since it was busy. When I picked it up, there was a massive, 1 foot long crack right in my line of sight looking forward.
I spoke to the manager, who was very unaccommodating. The first thing he did was stick his finger in the rubber trim at the top, which left a large, permanent gouge. He then told me that the only way it could possibly happen was if it was already chipped or cracked, which it wasn’t. I very strongly regret not watching the car go through the line, because accidents happen and I am positive my windshield was fully intact in every way before going through. After 15 – 20 minutes of back and forth with the manager, he held firm on his position and refused to pay for any damages, including the gouge he made right before my eyes. Avoid this car wash like the plague.
