Fast, courteous, AND my girlfriend got to get pretty keys! There is street parking just a few 100 ft from the location. The inside is clean as well. If you need new locks they have a wide range to choose from. No Fobs for your car though.

I came here for my business to get 40 copies of a key made for the office. I thought it would be a big hassle, but much to my surprise, it was simple and quick. I am back now to get 15 copies and am getting the same quick and efficient service.

DON’T have keys copied here. The first time I stopped in, it cost over $ 33 for five copies of keys (two of them were «special» designs, one each small and large, the others generic). One of the keys didn’t work, so I brought it back. I had stupidly thrown away the receipt (because I didn’t think I’d need to return keys I had made… who does?!) but when I came in it was the same girl who had copied them the first time. Because I didn’t have a receipt, she wouldn’t make me a new key of the one that didn’t work, she just tried shaving it down to match the original some more. I pointed out the obvious difference in the keys – there was a thick band running down the middle of the original, and she used the wrong key base twice – and she said it would supposedly still work. I needed another copy of the same key made as well, and paid for that one. (Another three keys in total came out to about $ 12.)
I get back and try them both and they almost broke off completely in my mailbox. Really? You have ONE JOB and failed at it three times. Huge waste of time.
I can’t speak for their locksmithing services, but don’t waste your time getting copies here. They are horribly expensive and DON’T WORK.
UPDATE: Be cautious of the sham reviews that were posted shortly after mine. I reported a few of them, but it appears that «friends» came and tried to negate the one-​star. One was so fake it mentioned the clerk by name and pointed out how «nice and helpful» she was.

My safe broke and I couldn’t use the lever to open it. Trapped inside were items that I needed for my job the next day, and items I use to make my living. Danny the technician responded to my call within 30 minutes, and had the safe open within about 15. Not only did he manage to open the safe, but he figured out what was wrong with the mechanism and fixed it. Now that’s service. The fact that he was able to come out at 11pm was a bonus. Sherman Oaks Lock & Safe really saved the day.
