Uh manager check your staff. They forgot my moms order which fine you forgot, but when the cashier tells you that you skipped an order, don’t be rude to the customer. The woman making the order tried to put nothing on the sandwich. With so many options bad bad choice.

For the first time, I was thoroughly disappointed with Stone Oven in Sherman Oaks. The Asian chicken salad had ALL dark(looked like old) lettuce and burned focaccia bread. The pictures below of their Asian salad look NOTHING like what I was served today. :(

Stone Oven is one of my favorite places to eat. Alex always greets me with a smile and provides great service. Good job Alex! See you soon, Steve.

Spicy Chicken Sandwich! Yummy in my tummy… Fresh stone oven bread. Fresh ingredients. A ‘healthier’ and quick option when you are in the mall. Highly recommend.

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. My experience here has been nothing short of the most inconvenient and irritating possible. Calling in an order over the phone is a nightmare. One time I called several times and finally got through the woman put me on hold for more than 10 minutes. Another time, I placed an order and told me that he will be ready in 20 minutes by the time I got there 20 minutes later, they haven’t even started the order. They weren’t very busy. They just flat out lied to me. I am so done with this place.

Love the food from here! Got the garlic & basil chicken sandwich with potato salad. Get in my tummy good!!! They’re located right in the food court of the Sherman Oaks Fashion Square. Although there’s a huge parking lot it’s still usually hard to find parking. Patience is a virtue! Free refills. Takes credit cards. Staff is fast and friendly.

I eat here quite often as its conveniently located in the mall but the service here is terrible. Everything takes a very long time to get made and the workers look like they are annoyed to be there.

My overall experience was decent. But the cashier Natalie made my experience better than what it actually was. She was very helpful asked me about my experience in the mall and had still kept contact with her other customers. Her aura was so pleasant and she seemed like she was the manager. She was so useful that she directed me through the mall it being my first time there. If there were more workers like her there I’d be a frequent customer there.

I love love their bread!!! And their southwest salad so spicy and yummy!!! But I wish they would put more corn and beans they tend to get super stingy with that

The only reason I’m giving them an extra star is… the sandwich guy was great, and the spicy chicken is a pretty darn good sandwich! Everything else… awful. Service was terrible. From the gal who took our order to the gal who packaged it up, it was like Sandwich Zombies Gone Bland. There were no straws and no utensils, and they didn’t seem to care about that. One of the sandwich folks(the girl) was stacking plates on top of plates to go and stuck the bottom of one of the plates on the top of my sandwich(YUCK!) and then just stuck a lid on it and put it in the bag. B-rating right there! To top it off… or not… I had no dressing. Thank goodness we didn’t go far before I realized. When I went back, I complained to the manager about these things(no utensils, no straws, no dressing, unsanitary packaging procedures). She actually looked at me and said… «Is there anything else?» What kind of HORRIBLE customer service is that? I laughed a little and said, «I guess not,» already writing this review in my head. The sandwich guy… this nice young man who was busting his buns to crank out these orders and already had enough to do… actually saved the day. He asked if he could make me another sandwich. The sandwich guy. I felt like looking at the manager and saying, «HE should be the Manager!» I took my clean sandwich, dressing, utensils and straws, and left. I will not be back.

As much as I love their food, the service was delivered very poorly this evening. I’ve worked at the mall before. I’ve worked food over retail & it wasn’t my most shining time either. But obvious eye rolls, a passive tone and poorly hidden attitude? Don’t do customer service if you can’t mask a bad day or your dislike for the job. It was a simple add on of sun-dried tomato mayo and an exchange of sides BEFORE anything was even made or paid for. It’s not like we were those customers who changed it after it was already made. We were still barely getting our order together & this lady didn’t even send in our order yet! I’m sorry but save the attitude for closing not for your customers or you’ll be sure to lose them much faster that way. I had to ask the cashier if adding the sauce was okay because her annoyance was so visible. All it was really was typing«sun-dried tomato». I didn’t know that typing an additional sauce out would be worth the poor service. Stone oven is always delicious to have once in awhile when I visit this Westfield but before I come here again, I’d like to make sure there’s another cashier up front. Chances of revisiting? Slim. It is a food court after all.

I love everything about this place. The sandwiches are great and the salads are good. But the real winner is the bread. Get yourself a side of the bread, you won’t regret it! For mall food court food it’s a winner

The Asian Chicken Salad was one of the worst I’ve had. It was a plate of lettuce, less than half of a thinly sliced chicken breast put on top, then a massive handful of carrots before a sprinkle of sliced almonds and about 5 wontons. The focaccia bread was so hot it burned my hand trying to pull it apart and the guy at the counter doused the gentleman in front of me with water when he spilled his glass all over him. Overall, a poor experience, but the sandwiches looked nice!

Let me start by saying that Focaccia bread is AH-mazing! I have tried the Garlic & Basil Chicken sandwich, it is indeed, very tasty, very good. I ordered it with a side of Caesar salad. The salad is mediocre. But I am going to say it again, that focaccia bread is to die for! I think its a tad pricey for a sandwich and some salad, but nevertheless the food is pretty good and the service is pretty fast.

Sandwich game STRONG. These folks really understand how flavors and seasoning works. Also, you get a free side dish(two of which are salad options) with every sandwich, which adds to the potential health appeal of eating here. Their bread is legit, and they brown it a bit in their stone oven, which gives it a slightly unique flavor. If you like garlic, you’ll like this place. I order the spicy chicken sandwich and it never does me wrong. Food is a good value at ~$ 8/sandwich(as I said, comes with a free side). Lines are generally not too long. The only gripe I have is that they don’t have those stand-up divider things to channel their line of customers. They have some tiling on the floor that tells savvy people to line up along the kitchen line so as not to block other people walking through the food court, but people often miss this and Stone Oven’s line blocks people walking through the food court anyway. I come back often. This place is a gem.

This place is so great! All the ingredients they use look super fresh. The sandwiches are wonderful, and come in a variety of unique combinations. They warm them up in a stone oven, instead of a toaster oven. So it’s quicker and more authentic! It’s on the pricey side, but all the sandwiches come with a side, so you get a good amount of food. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in The Valley!

I came to the mall today to exchange a gift. After some shopping, I got hungry so I decided to go check out the food court. As soon as I turned into the food court, a lady was handing out samples from here of the bread. When I bit into that bread, I immediately fell in love. It was delicious so I decided to have lunch from there. I got the goat cheese chicken salad and it was so good! I really loved the combination of stuff in the salad but I am not going to lie, the bread was the star of the dish for me. It is so soft and succulent. I really love it. I even asked for extra so i could take it home for my mom. She liked it too.

Stone Oven doesn’t quite belong it your typical mall food court. They have a great selection of high quality sandwiches, soups and salads for less than $ 10 that all come with fresh, piping hot artisan bread. Their bbq chicken salad is one of the best I’ve ever had! It puts CPK to shame and it is served with a huge freshly baked and perfectly seasoned piece of flat bread to boot. It was flavorful, filling and huge enough to resuscitate my weary bones after a good sales-rack pillage.

So this WAS my favorite place until tonight. I was craving the basil chicken sandwich and went in to satisfy my craving, but I almost threw up when I brought my food home. The pasta side salad was old, the sandwich and the salad both had hair. Horrible experience
