Rosie helped transform my hair from black/​dark brown into the awesomeness it is now!
My old stylist didn’t want to do it, she was more conservative and not comfortable doing «crazy» colors and I came here since I work nearby.
I have attached a pic of my hair after a month! My roots were growing out faster than my hair could fade and let me tell you blue hair is notorious for fading into like grey or something, but with Rosie’s magic my hair maintains its color and I just need my regular touch ups every 4 – 6 weeks ^.^
Her and Miriam also helped give me tips on how to care for my hair since what I do does damage hair! My hair is fairly healthy and I’m not kind to it between dying it, surfing and styling it: P

Ventura Cuts is my neighborhood spot! Both Rosie and Susan are amazing! Every time I leave there I have an extra bounce in my step because I feel like a million bucks. And no lie the last 3 times I have gotten a blow up someone has either stopped me on the street or yelled out their car window that I have «great hair!» I mean come on! Need I say more!!! I think not!

I love this place. Being a first timer to Ventura Cuts and a typical guy who has no idea what he wants in a haircut, I put a lot of faith in my stylist. Rosie was awesome! She gave me a great haircut at a great price. She’s super easy to talk to and everyone in there is really friendly. I can’t wait for my hair to grow back so I can go visit her again!!!

After searching the valley and the rest of Los Angeles for years, I have finally found the perfect hair place for me. Not only do I get an incredible haircut at a very reasonable price, you also get excellent service and personality. Everyone there is amazing, Rosie cuts my hair. They are fun, professional, and extremely attractive if that even matters.

Omg! Love love love this place! I have been coming here ever since they’ve been under new management! The staff is absolutely amazing and their hair skills are even better ! I usually come in for color with Rosie or a blow dry with Mariam. I’ve gotten my eyebrows done, hair cut, several waxing services and every single visit is better than the last! Two thumbs up!!! Defiantly recommend these girls !!!

I called ahead to see if I could get a haircut today at about 4pm. They let me know that there was no wait so I headed in. The shoppe itself was nice and clean. When I walked in they knew I was the one on the phone and had a chair ready for me.
Susan was very nice and polite. She made nice chit chat with me as I got my hair cut. She was able to decipher from my minimal instructions the exact hair cut I was looking for. «Not too short on top and 4 on the sides.» I have said these same words to other barbers in the past and got a haircut much too short for my liking. This one was perfect.
I will definitely be going back next month when I need another cut. The haircut was worth the $ 15 as well as the $ 10 tip.

My family & I absolutely LOVE this salon! Rosie is so great– they have very clean stations & equipment. Their professional stylists make you feel comfortable & are knowledgable about all styles, cuts & coloring techniques. I do recommend that you make an appointment ahead of time!

Great place. never seen hair wash done so thoroughly. That’s outstanding service by itself. How low key, unassuming this girls are. Such a comfortable, sweet vibe, on top of all they are doing great job, Rosie for hair and Mariam for make up. Price is very good too.

Rosie is the best! She’s been cutting my son’s hair for years. She knows exactly how to cut it and takes her time, regardless how busy she is. We now live in Burbank and drive to Sherman Oaks just to get a haircut from Rosie.

Place is great. Rosie and Mariam are cool conversationalists. Rosie’s shampoo is insane, y’all — ask for the grandpa treatment. Also, ask Mariam how you can lose facial weight while getting a cut.
