Honest, reliable, and effective. I bring my e46 M3 here and I always trust it to Raffi.

I’m a car guy and have been taking both Bimmers to ZMB for the past 5 years.
Not only they’re honest, caring and expert at what they do; they also love cars which I think is an important factor for being a mechanic.
Zoro & Raffi are just great people and I don’t ever let anyone else to touch my cars

It’s been several years since my last review, but I continue to take my cars to Zoro when I can (I have moved across the valley, so he’s not as close as he used to be). These guys continue to be extremely trustworthy, highly skilled, and very well priced.
I won’t go into detail but there are recent times where Zoro has gone so far above and beyond a normal service relationship, and provided such an extra level of support, that I would class him more as a friend than my mechanic. I would never, ever receive the level of extra service from any other mechanic or dealership. There really is no other comparison to these guys.
I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone for all service needs.

Zorro and Raffi are the most honest, reliable and trustworthy mechanics around! I moved to Northridge and continue to take our cars to Sherman Oaks, because of how well they have treated us for so many years!

Zoro is the most honest and helpful mechanic I have been to and I have had many problems with my car in the past. He tries to solve your problems in a quick fashion and always does it with a smile! He also has his son there that also does great work. If you need your car fixed definitely go to them!

My family and I have been bringing our cars there for several years and although it sucks to have to get needed repairs done on the higher mileage cars that we’ve had through the years (as one can expect), we’ve never had to worry about paying too much or getting screwed! I’m absolutely certain on this since they have told me on several occasions that recommended repairs (by other mechanics & «quick lube» places) were either not needed or didn’t have to be done yet. Also, they always give options on the repairs to best help with a tight budget. For example, my mom had an older Mbz 400E that a rear window came down & wouldn’t roll up. Zohrab had considered the age of the car & that it was a rear window & gave her 3 options: new part (w/​warranty), used part (cheaper but w/​no warranty on the part) or he could just use something to keep the window up permanently in which he wouldn’t charge anything at all! She’d went with the used part & never had any problem at all with it.
Lastly, they charge less than other mechanic shops and WAY LESS than the dealerships! We used to take our Honda Pilot to the dealer since it was new, up until it’s 1^st scheduled major service in which they’d charged only ¼ of what the Honda dealership was going to.
I definitely would’ve posted a review about ZMB a long time ago but am new to using Unilocal.Go to them if you want repairs done right, at very reasonable costs & if you can appreciate dealing with honest mechanics!

Honest mechanics. Was referred from another mechanic who doesn’t work on Mercedes and Zoro and his son run an honest shop! Got the work done quick and the price was right! They don’t overcharge like the Mercedes dealership does and they use the synthetic mobile 1 they are supposed to. I recommend and will be back again!

Very happy to have found a trustworthy and caring mechanic that is close to home. I didn’t have much work done (oil change, brakes) but they were quick, efficient, and honest. Icing on the cake, they washed my car for me! It’s the little things that make a difference. Zoro and raffi are fantastic. AND they are open on Saturdays!

I have been taking my 2004 BMW to Zoro and Rafi for several years now. They take very good care of me and my car. They are honest — and thats rare in a mechanic dealing with a lady! They make car repair easy with rides to my office not too far from them, reasonable quotes and quick service. They are always there with good advise on what to do. With their help I hope to drive my baby a few more years!

Got my latest oil change and breaks done there, very trustworthy and dependable. They gave me the best price and service, even did a full check of my car and told me it didn’t need any other work done, when the Acura dealership told me otherwise trying to charge me more. I would definitely take my car back there. Appreciate the service and honest mechanics!

Best mechanic in the San Fernando valley! Ask for Zoro or Raffi they’ll take good care of you. Very humble, honest, and hard working mechanics. They specialize in BMW and Mercedes but I’ve been taking all three of my family’s cars (jeep, honda, and mercedes) there for years with no problems. Great service, excellent quality mechanics, very trustworthy.

Look at my review and the one on 7÷29÷10!!! They ruined my car! I believe they arranged it so I would get more work done, but when I said I would take it to my mechanic, my car died again! The engine blew! Before I took my car to ZMB, it was running perfectly. I only took it for an oil change and then ended up with a non working classic car. Do not take your car to ZMB!!! I wouldn’t even give 1 star, but then I wouldn’t be able to warn anyone.

Have been going to Zoro for over fifteen years. We have beamers and he has serviced them and kept them going for years. He also worked on our old family car, a Toyota Camry replacing the rack and pinion steering. His is not the least expensive guy, but is reliable, and gets the job done.
I recommend him highly.

He’s honest, will actually give an opinion, tells you the cheapest option — even if it’s not him and he has enough work to keep him busy so that he doesn’t need to try to convince you of anything. He remembers what he says, he does what he says he will do when he promises. He has a good reputation in the neiighborhood and when his shop came up in conversation, others praised it. Zoro, you have a loyal customer and believe me, I’ve tried all the Merecedes repair houses from Woodland Hills to North Hollywood since I’ve driven a mercedes for over 20 years. He is also conveniently next door to a tire place which for me was very conveneient. I have recommended ZMB to friends AND family.
My 1997 C280 runs as beautifully as the day I got it! Thanks for finding and changing my #2 spark plug — my car had been such a dissappointment and it had been backfiring since I let Eagle Auto work on it…:-(never again I promise… ZORO SOLO!!!

Well, a year an a half later I had to come back and add a star. Do I still have the 1997 C280… NO. But the decision to trade it in for a 2004 C320 was finally made with much help from Zoro. I test drove it right over to him for an inspection. He put it up on the lift and looked it over while we (myself and the car salesman) waited. He took me aside and informed me of what he thought of the car. I decided to purchase it and immediately have the necessary repairs to my pre-​owned-​new-​to-​me-​car the first week I had it. Zoro and his son Rafi always make sure I get to work on time and have even picked me up from work after having repaired my car during the day!
Once, my car stranded me at the shopping center kitty-​corner to ZMB and I actually had to have my car towed from across the street. When they learned I was there, both Zoro and Rafi walked over at different times during my ordeal to look at the car and assist me with the towing — I felt totally supported and cared for. They really go above and beyond.
Although his lot is always full, there will aways be room for your Auto at ZMB — they are never too busy to help.

My sister has had her second-​hand Mercedes repaired here for years, and says they are good at what they do. I thought so too, until today. Fifteen months ago, they replaced a defective fuel pump. $ 499.00
I drove it away, and it died on the 101 20 minutes later, during rush hour.
I called Zorro and had it towed back. He apologized, said the part was rebuilt and missing a piece, but that he could weld it together so that it would be safe. Or I could pay for another one, even more expensive. I asked what he would hiis wife to do. He said, I would weld this together and it will be fine and safe for at least two or three years, and if there are problems, bring it back. I said, OK, I will do it your way. Yesterday, my car died on Van Nuys Blvd, I took it back, and his son (Zorro was on vacation) said the problem was not the fuel pump, but the electrical system. He couldn’t figure out what, so he replaced the spark plugs.
Took 4.5 hours to diagnose this. Spark plugs did nothing. I had it towed to my regular mechanic on the west side who did a full diagnostic and said, this is a defective fuel pump. Not enough pressure to give it adequate fuel. Needs to be replaced. I called Raphael, his son, and told him the problem. He said he was just trying to help me out. I am having my mechanic make the repairs and will go to small claims court against ZMB unless they reimburse me.
