It is sad when a good customer cannot«exchange» an item. I didn’t want to return it, but I wanted to exchange it. The employee said it is the«owner’s policy.» Indeed, another employee who knows I am a customer who never buys less than a $ 100 of groceries at each visit was listening to the entire conversation. Unfortunately, I now do not feel the need to shop at the local Green Market when I can hop down the road to Whole Foods! There should always be room for«exceptions to some rules» at a small business. Isn’t common sense common? Isn’t customer service what normally differentiates high margin businesses like Green Market from its less expensive organic grocers like Kroger, Albertsons, and Wal-mart? Worse than the policy, was the manner In which this«in your face employee» told me I could not make the exchange and continued loudly with his tirade. I am sorry he misses the big picture… but maybe he is an employee who needs anger management, new management, or a lesson in customer service.

I love this store! Great produce, staff is awesome, smoothies are amazing, and they carry most of my favorite organic brands and snacks and such.. Only 4 stars because some of their products are overpriced. the cereal my daughter eats is $ 5/box here, while it’s $ 3/box at target. But I do suppose to pay for the better service.

Need a natural tooth paste, vitamin, natural meal and drink then stop in and enjoy. Reminds me of Grains, Beans & Things in Little Rock. Pray this doesn’t get bought out.

Their smoothies are made to order, and made with real fruit, which can be hard to find. It’s a great pick me up on extra busy/tiring mornings. They sell Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. The hot bar can get pricey, but they almost always have something I love on the menu that keeps me going back. They try new things on different days of the week, which keeps it interesting, and hey, it’s a health food store… The price helps with portion control!

Prices a bit high but the quality is definitely there. Will continue to shop there for some of my organics.

Seemed like a large selection of organic products– I would call it high priced but it’s hey. its organic. Lol. We got smoothies in the back which seemed perfectly blended somehow. Def a store I would like to pop into every now and again

I have been very pleased visiting this store every time that I have. The employees have always been really eager to help and in a good mood when I have went. Love that they have so many sections for such a smaller store! I was in narnia when I first came here and noticed the amount of vegan friendly products that they have! Could’ve done cartwheels! Wish that they’d carry a few more brands that I’d have to drive closer to Dallas to purchase and wish they’d have a few more vegan food options from the deli area but I understand why they don’t! Cant wait to try the salad bar sometime! Anyways, will definitely get my business often. Thanks!

Good sandwiches and soups. Employee morale is extremely low. It’s sad and funny at the same time.

Visited Green Market the other day kinda hoping that it was Sherman’s version of Sprouts(I luuuuuv Sprouts). It’s not. They do have a big selection of organic food and products however and although their fresh produce section was very small, I thought it was a neat store. Their prices are higher than the other chain stores close by but then again it is a specialty store with — as far as I know — no competition in the nearest area. :-)

Green market has an excellent selection of organic foods & items that are difficult to find in Durant or Sherman. The prices are reasonable for the products they are providing, and quality & freshness are both wonderful. Customer service is always friendly, & the staff are very knowledgable and helpful. The one thing that keeps me from giving this store a five is the small size of the fresh produce section.

I’m very happy to report that the customer service at Green Market has pretty much done a 180 from where they were 2 – 3 wks ago when I left my 1st review. And it shows that they are smart for watching for online reviews, taking them seriously and immediately addressing big issues — or at least that’s what they did in this case. I’ve shopped there 4 times since I left the review and noticed a difference in the front lane employees’ behavior right away. They’ve been much more attentive, friendly and talkative with me at the check out lanes. When I was there yesterday, one employee even asked me if I needed help finding anything when I was over by the freezer section. Overall, they seem more focused on taking care of customers’ needs and happy to be of assistance, which is what I expect from a business that wants to keep my business. I thank the Green Market managers and employees for making this change — now that I’ve switched my diet to almost all organic & non-GMO foods, this makes me feel a lot better about giving the majority of my grocery shopping dollars to them. Keep up the good work! P. S. I don’t often give 5-star ratings. In this case, though there are other changes I’d like to see(such as a wider selection of products), I think they are doing as well as they can considering the area and population they are serving. Hopefully as Texoma grows and their business grows, their product selection will grow along with it. =)
