Only because there is not Zero Stars. Went there at 2:15 in the afternoon to purchase a lock set and deadbolt. They both needed to be keyed to our existing key. After standing at the counter in the hardware section for about 5 minutes the man behind the counter asked if we needed help. Told him we needed locks rekeyed. He says Just a minute I will get someone to help you. 10 minutes later a woman shows up and immediately starts telling the man that paged her she had an order to pull for a couple that was going to be there in about 45 minutes. Then asked if we needed keys. Said no we needed two locks rekeyed. We were then told that there would be someone there that could help us in 45 minutes. She insists we come back in 45 minutes and then we could be helped. REALLY? This is a hardware store that sells hardware and offers rekeying of locks as a service but has no one there at 2:15 in the afternoon to perform the task. It ain’t like we were there at 8:45pm looking for 30 minutes work. Asked to see the manager and was informed that she was a manager. Then asked to see her boss and was told she had no idea where he was. Told her no problem would take our $ 100 purchase to Home Depot as evidently Lowes didn’t need the money. 10 Stars to Home Depot as they were able to perform the task and get us on our way. Lowes in Sherman sucks, as usual!

After price checking and researching refrigerators for a few weeks at several different retailers, we were ready to buy. Sears told us that they would price match… but only if it wasn’t on a special sale or a «doorbuster». So, off to Lowe’s, where they not only instantly priced matched Sears(down $ 800 bucks on a non-sale item of theirs), but also offered free delivery & haul-away plus 18 months, no interest. Both the manager and cashier in Home Appliances were a dream to work with — no hassle with friendly demeanors. Love Katherine in Customer Service, too… all during Black Friday! :)
