Delicious. I ordered Chicken Pot Pie along with Peach and Blue Berry Pie. Best I have had! Everyone in our party ordered something completely different. However, I did get to taste the coconut, pecan and the chocolate/peanut butter pie from the rest of the folks at my table. Very good. Yes, I will come back. We met the owner and he was very friendly. Thank-you Ronnie and Kelly for taking us and allowing G’mommy and G’daddy to have some good«home-cooked» food plus delicious pies. ~J

My entire office LOVES Willie Jim’s. I’m a huge fan of the chicken pot pie and peanut butter pie – so delicious. Albeit a bit expensive for what the food actually is, they’ve definitely found a niche and they do it very well.

This is an amazing piece of pie. I had the banana cream and my wife had the chocolate chipper. The bananas were perfect. The chocolate pie had a great grainy texture, like a good chocolate chip cookie. Worth every penny. It reminds me of some of the pie shops in the Boston/Cambridge area.

Great atmosphere and good food. In fact, one of the best BLTs I’ve ever had the pleasure of devouring. Absolutely love the décor and the server’s 1940’s vibe. A place that reminds me of home back in downtown Dallas. Customer service was great, with very attentive servers coming by to make sure I never had a cold cup of hot joe. I can’t wait to order the German Chocolate pie for my husband(a fave of his). So why not five stars? Two things, the bathrooms and those drinking hot tea. Single stalls are difficult for a bustling place like Willie Jim’s. Two visits required me to do some fancy footwork waiting for either bathroom to open. As for the hot tea, it would be so awesome and totally continuous with the 40’s vibe if a teapot of hot water was given to the customer for refills. While I had plenty of coffee refills, my friend had one or two refills of hot water. However, those refills only came when they server noticed the drink was finished. Just food(or hot water) for thought. Keep up the great job!

As a Sherman Area native I was excited to try Willie Jim’s. The owners have done a beautiful job remodeling the building and have hired friendly staff. I have been a few times now and the cosensus is always the same, it is too pricey for what its trying to be. I took my Grandad in one day and I thought he was going to faint over a $ 4.50 slice of pie and that was without coffee. There are restaurants in the area with bakery items that are much more reasonable. Pie is good and the turkey salad sandwich is good but we opt to go elsewhere.

Happy that new business is coming to the area. Willie Jim’s did a beautiful job on renovating an old downtown building. Their décor is chic and adorable and the dishes are tasty. With that being said, I feel that the prices are high for what’s being served. Although the limited menu sells out quickly, it’s shocking to me that an egg sandwich(the Texas Sunrise) is $ 8… with no sides. Just a ciabatta bun, one egg, bacon(or sausage) and cheese. And pie slices at $ 4.50 a piece? Sounds like Dallas pricing. We also ordered the Breakfast Casserole(which includes a side of mixed fruit). Again, $ 8. After adding in drinks, chips and four Pie Bites, it cost us $ 45 and change. I’m used to dropping a Grant on a fancy steak dinner for two, not breakfast. In the end, I’d probably return to try a different dish(most of what we were planning to order — Chicken Pot Pie, Cattleman Pie — was sold out), but I’ve got to build my savings account up first.

Stopped in for pie and coffee on a rainy afternoon. Quaint and rustic with really fun chairs. Apple pie was good. The filling still had some firmness and was not mushy. I appreciate that. They also have breakfast and lunch so I have something to look forward to.

Food is really good sherman needed something new different. Warning on the cattlemen pie the meat is bbq. I was expecting like a roast type. I am not a bbq sauce fan went in the trash. Doesn’t mention bbq on pie ingredients. Think it is little overpriced for what you get. U can spend 15. Per person easy before tip just for sandwich and pie. Will return but limited. Really clean. Great service.

Read about him in D Magazine today while on our way to Durant. Stopped by on our way back and ordered the Cattlemans Pie. Just amazing. Comfort food at its best. Finished it with a wee pecan pie bite. Folks, this place is cool. It’s in downtown Sherman and it’s worth the road trip.

We went twice in one day. We went for breakfast and lunch. The Pies were great. I love that it is walking distance from my Sherman office. There is one older lady that works there, I forgot her name but she is so nice. She made us feel like family.

This place has amazing pies. We bought the Hawaii 5-O pie, it was delicious. We also bought the apple pie topped with pecans and caramel. Amazing! The mini pies are great as well. Can’t wait to try more when we travel back home to visit family.

Don’t miss this place! Charming, warm, friendly and THEBESTPIE in Texoma! Chicken pot pie was incredible. Buttermilk pie for late if it makes it home before I bust into it. My only regret, living in Arizona so I can’t have more of Willie Jim s!

Popped in for a cup of coffee & a slice of pie. It’s a very new(breakfast, lunch & pie) business, however the Pumpkin & Pecan pies were fabulous! The coffee was the perfect with your choice of regular or French vanilla cream at the table. The service was friendly, the décor is cute, clean & inviting. Suggestions are to call ahead right now since the business is just starting off. Make sure they have some pies left because by 2:30 everything was sold out. Obviously for a very good reason!
