Shermans Creek Inn

Nothing special about the food here. Nothing is freshly made except the deep fried wings. The in house made cole slaw is just made for a few concerning pallets. The recipes have changed over the years from fresh and exciting flavors to dull and bland frozen products. If you want fast food in a bar setting this is the place to go.

Sherman’s creek inn has been a Perry county staple for as long as I can remember. Their buffet has been long since closed but the bar and kitchen still remain. I have had a sample of most things on their menu from the homemade soups to the burgers and wings.
Wait… I said wings… Now I have to go out and start my bloody car and drive the whole damn way over the mountain to get some.
Seriously, they are that good. I usually get the extra hot (goes up to XXX) and have them served extra crispy over a bed of French fried (‘Merica!) Since I discovered those, my order has not changed. Ask the bar tender and they’ll tell you.
I mention the bar tender because it is truly a country bar where if you go there enough they will recognize you, remember details about what you like and even miss you when you haven’t been in for a while.
Long story short quit reading this review, go to the SCI and have some delicious food (especially the wings) and write your own!
