This place is nothing short of a piece of Catawba County history. Growing up dad would often bring us here on a hot summer day as it was one of the few places close to the house to get a hand scooped ice cream cone. I can still taste the butter pecan ice cream and smell the ice cream. Always a million little knick-knacks to look through and typically a few local products on the shelves as well(meats, jams, BBQ sauce type things). I had not been in a few years as I no longer live in the area but its so awesome to see it hasn’t changed. I didn’t notice the ice cream anymore but one thing that remains the same and always will is how neat this place is!
