There are so many dog training resources out there and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Bark Buster. Dick is such an awesome trainer. He taught us how to be a pack leader, which works so well in communicating to our Akita, Hawaii, and everyday we see Hawaii improving. We had a lot of fun during our training sessions and his instructions are clear and easy to follow. We would highly recommend Dick to anyone. It is definitely worth every single penny!

Dick Messenger has been amazing. We started working with him in November 2014 for training with our fluffy American Eskimo, Gus. We were concerned with Gus’s jumping, pulling, playful biting and chewing up everything in the house. Honestly, we were exhausted trying to correct it ourselves. Dick came to our home and spent several hours showing us how to take control of his behaviors. We saw instant changes in Gus’s behavior. He followed up a few weeks later and came back out, to see how Gus was doing.
We since moved and had a few new behaviors pop up that we weren’t sure how to handle. I emailed Dick and received a response the same night. Dick was able to come over and provide us great direction on how to correct the issue within days of us asking for help. Dick has been professional, quick to respond, and very pleasant to work with. We were there when Curley was born, so we have been with her since birth. We brought her to our Home when she was seven weeks old. She is a high energy Border Collie, but we just called her Trouble — with a capital T. She was jumping on us causing bleeding arms & legs. She was also chewing on everything in sight — our furniture — door jams, baseboards, cabinets. Shredding our clothing and destroying household décor. Outside was even worse, not only eating/​killing the plants and trees, but the rocks in our garden paths. We were going to the Vet frequently for X-​rays and to have her stomach pumped.
We called Dick Messenger with Bark Busters. He spent two hours with our Curley and at the end of that very first session we had an entirely different doggie. We had only a few sessions with Dick and we have this wonderful dog that we love and enjoy.
Our Curley is seven years old now and she has turned out to be such a good doggie girl.
The other day we called Dick back for a «touch up» as we are taking care of Curley’s sister during the weekdays PLUS our grandchildren and small great grandchildren moved in with us, bringing their doggie girl as well. With three female dogs and two preschoolers we were concerned. Dick came right out and Curley instantly responded to Dick again. He was so generous that he took on the other two dogs as well. Again, instantly we had three trained dogs. Dick also incorporated the little girls and all six adults involved. With everyone «on board», under Dick’s excellent direction, we are proud of all of our progress.
We are so thankful that Dick came into our lives. Without his help our situation had the potential for disaster. We highly recommend Dick Messenger for Dog Training.
