Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The patrons are a fun group. They have some good beers too.

A mans growler house for sure. I have been here a couple times. I like the older man for sure he is the most knowledgeable. They have free peanuts… score!!! I don’t see any food or food menus or smell anything cooking so if you are hungry you probably shouldn’t come here. but if you want a cozy atmosphere it’s your place without all the meat market drama. I had the most amazing berry Porter i wish i remembered the name. It wasn’t there when i went back.

If you don’t want your establishment turned back into a doctors office you(the owner) need to learn how to treat your customers. Poor service and above average prices. Would only recommend on holidays if you couldn’t find decent brew anywhere else.

Fun tap house. Great staff and consistently very good beer offerings. Projector screen for sports, they’re always very happy to tune in to what you would like. Strong bottle selection of about 175 beers. Definitely worth a visit for the staff alone!

I’ve been to quite a few growleries since I’ve moved to Portland. This place is definitely more on the homey side with handwritten chalkboards. The selection is a little smaller compared to some of the bigger growleries. The place felt very lazy with an old James Bond movie playing on the TV. There were four patrons including us, so it was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. We didn’t get a whole lot of recommendations from the beer meister. It felt like he would rather be left alone than talk to us, which was fine…

This is a fun place to get some good beer! The staff is knowledgable and pick out great beers to serve. They are a little on the eccentric side, but it’s Oregon. They host some fun events too and recently had a great one with Lost Coast Brewery doing tastings and playing Cards Against Humanity! No food which is a bummer and would make it more of a hang out spot, but still definitely worth checking out! Decent prices too :)

My friends and I enjoy having a quick drink here. I love the atmosphere. Also enjoyed putting on my best friends birthday in their event room. Roy loaning us growlers to tie the balloons to was perfect!

One of my favorite places. Great beer @ great prices. That staff is quirky & odd but in a good way. I wish the atmosphere was a bit more evolved but I will still come on a regular basis because it is that good. It is the place where everyone around the bar sits and has a chat. Love it.

Made a wrong turn and ended up sitting in front of the Growler house. Decided to go in and try a beer. We sat at the bar and was immediately introduced to the server, she was friendly and very informative. We started with a Peach ale and an Irish stout. Booth where good and at $ 4…how can you go wrong?! Then I tried the chocolate stout on nitro and it was amazing. My wife got the Rusty Truck raspberry ale and she loved it. I liked the Chocolate Stout so much that I purchased one of their Steel growlers full of the tasty brew. I would recommend this place, great brew selection and prices and I could see it being great for bringing groups of friends and having a great time.

I really like the beer selection and the price for them is great! They usually have a few taps on nitro as well. They don’t serve food but they don’t mind you ordering some or bringing your own. They have special events too during certain days of the month. I have not yet attended but am planning on it. They have a room that you can throw a get together or party in too. It’s very relaxing yet fun atmosphere.

I heard about 2 new Growler establishments in Sherwood, so happened we were driving East on 99W and saw The Growler House sign on the Key Bank Building. A quick right turn and a turn at McDonalds drive thru put us right in the parking lot shared with Key Bank and The Growler House. The Outside had banners advertising one of the special beers they had on tap. Easy access off 99, 2 rights and you can’t go wrong you are in the parking lot. So this is how I rate the place: 1. Nice appearance with frosted glass like the old time soda fountains from the 60s 2. Inside had wainscoting and buffed cement floor with sparkle marble U shaped bat. Tables lined the wall with 2 to 6 seating by pushing tables together. 3. Beers: several of top world and local winning beers were available choice of every category of beer was listed from IPA to Ale Pilsner and Stouts, We asked for a Black and tan and a Shandy which were expertly mixed! Yes they did have 2 beers which you can buy in the store, Labatts which is the #1 beer in Canada and PBR which believe it or not is still popular in Oregon according to the patrons we talked with cuz we were laughing about having that one on board. 4. Other tap items were Wine, and 2 types of Kombucha I think we counted 28 taps but may be off a little due to the Kegarator separate taps for the Kombucha and wine 5. Everyone there was very friendly and open, the patrons were not shy about asking us where we were from and before were knew it, it felt like we were included in the locals inner circle. . 6. Best price we have found for the stout nitro beers I will be writing more on the other places in the Sherwood area since I and my sister commute thru the area every week. But for this establishment we give it 5 stars. Donna P and tag-along sis

I really like the beer selection. The chilled glasses are a nice touch.

Healthy sized pint glass and sample– much more generous than the chain growler place across the highway with its cheap, auto-pour samples. If you prefer simple and low key over a trendy/yuppified atmosphere, go to the Growler House instead.

This isn’t what you expect to find in this location, since it looks like a strip mall where you’d find an orthodontist, but I was pleasantly surprised at the roominess of the interior. Not an abundance of seating if they are having a special event(like Monty Python and the Holy Grail night) but I imagine on a regular night it’s adequate. They don’t serve food, which means you can bring your own in or drunkenly stumble across the parking lot to McDonalds. $ 4 a pint is not a bad price for some good beer selections like a blackberry ale. Will be back, next time with my grandpa in tow.

Growler House in Sherwood is a quiet place to get away from the day’s noise. Great selection of local microbrews – 25 taps, including hard cider, wine and kombucha. Some of the selections are exclusive guest taps only found here or at the brewery. I like trading opinions of beer styles and hearing the beer tender’s recommendations. Roy, the owner is a character as well – he tells me he’s a farmer and an engineer. Not hard to find – near Kohl’s off Highway 99.
