So disappointed in this place. My daughter wanted to try this out as she loves burgers. If you only want burgers, fries, beer and very loud western music this place is for you! I wanted something other than their fries(something healthy please — some kind of vegetable — okay any vegetable) but they only offer fries with the burgers. Very limited and way too loud.

We were regulars at the KB in Bingen, Washington until they closed it. So now the Sherwood KB is our new favorite burger place.

I have been to every KB location and all have turned out some very good burgers — except this place in Sherwood. Yesterday, took some family members there and the experience was terrible. There were some signs that things weren’t going to fare well. First hint was how long it took standing in line to place the order. Second hint was how long it took to get the order — over 30 minutes! So, the service was very poor — only to get worse. When the food arrived, out of the five burgers ordered, three were wrong and we had to wait some more to get the right food. Then, we all noticed how over-cooked the burgers were — on the outside. Not just charred, but burnt to a crisp that took away any of the seasoning. On the inside, the patties were still pink — evidence that the grill cook was cooking the meat too fast on too high of heat. Then, the condiments were slopped on very heavily as if to cover up the charred mess we were served to eat. What a huge disappointment. When I said something to the manager, I was told they were short-staffed. Even so, someone should have made sure the food was being cooked properly. Worse yet, of the five of us, three had stomach issues later that day. What a disaster. Now, I can understand that things can happen when workers don’t show up, but that shouldn’t be a valid reason for putting out some terrible food. I know the family, that owns the other KB locations, generally takes Sunday off and this is the only that is opened on Sunday. Makes me wonder if it is a poorly-run franchise. Regardless, there is no excuse to take our money for food this terrible. Has also taught me a lesson not to tip when you have to pay for the food before you get it. These folks just didn’t deserve it. I will continue to go to the other locations — downtown and in Sellwood — but I won’t come back here unless there is an improvement in their overall score in Unilocal and Zomato. This place is not in Zomato, but I have rated all the other KB locations as a 4. Unfortunately, Sherwood gets a 1! Too bad, I can’t give them a zero.

For fast food burger, it’s pretty good but expensive considering it wasn’t amazing. They have a tendency to over cook the meat, I mean charred. The pickles are good.

First time ever being to any KB before. The counter girl was very helpful in showing me some of the highlights. I love peanut butter on burgers anyway, so it was an easy choice. She was so friendly and professional that when I sat down I was like, «How will they know how to get me my burger.» But when I heard my name called I realized that she had asked me my name, but I didn’t even realize it. Mad public props to this girl. I don’t remember her name, but she had fun hair. I forgot to ask for no mayo so I ended up scraping off a huge layer of mayo. Other than that the burger was pretty darn good. Crispy bacon, sweet and savory sauce. Bun that didn’t cave in. Juicy flavorful meat. One of the better burgers that I’ve ever had. The fries seemed kind of uninteresting. I politely nibbled at a few in between bites of burger, but as they cooled off they became irresistible. I don’t know how to explain it. My only complaint is that the price point is a hair high. I’m curious to try some of the other burgers… if I can afford it.

Great burgers, just found this place and we love the burgers here. They are massive and we love the different options. I did try the one with peanut butter, ok maybe not quite my style but interesting. They have craft beers on tap too. Can get loud

Imagine if you will the town of Sherwood. A stripmall near the 99. What does the hungry traveling social worker type between meetings do when they need sustenance? Unilocal search. The Unilocal app said I was .2 miles from Killer Burger! The clouds parted(no really, the sun actually came out) and angels sang(ok so Adele was on the radio) and how did the Fates KNOW I had cheeseburger cravings? Because I totally did. I’d been having them for two weeks but hadn’t given in because when I do succumb it has to be a good cheeseburger. At least local. And kinda fancy. What? Im just like that. Not in a hipster or phony way but with more toppings than just the usual suspects. Anyway. KB is in a stripmall near Chipotle and Walmart. Sigh. It is the suburbs after all. On the upside, parking is plentiful in the big ol’ lot. It was not too busy at 12:30. This KB is clean, bright, new, and the staff was charming and efficient. They really were. They checked on me several times. In a friendly not annoying way. I walked up to the counter and ordered the Teemah(this is apparently named after an owner’s pet) and got a rare diet coke.(if im gonna go for it go big). Refills are free for sodas and fries apparently. Like you need more food. Silly people. The music is loud 80s rock. Fits in with the excess mode perfectly. My burger arrived quickly. It was big. The Teemah has the perfect bun, a nice patty with a decent sear, perfectly cooked bacon, goopy blue cheese, pickles, grilled onions, and the house smoky sauce. I liked everything BUT the smoky sauce. It was really copious and very salty and mustardy and overly smoky… and I just don’t think mustard goes with moldy yummy cheese. I love blue cheese and bacon… but I missed some crisp, cool freshness like iceberg lettuce or a decent tomato slice. I think I will try a simpler burger next time and get my blue cheese fix elsewhere. The fries were perfectly cooked and a good size.Medium.Not shoestring, not planks, not bits, not too dark. Just golden and crispy. And not overly salted. Yay! I love that the ketchup and paper towels were on the table. I’m totally going back, but next time it won’t be during work and I want a beer. There is good beer. I’d realistically give it a 3, but the people were so nice they warrant their own star! PS you order at the counter, they bring your food, and they bus your table. Love that part.

First time tonight. Had the peanut butter pickle bacon burger, which isn’t the best burger to judge a place because you’ll like it or not. I liked it well enough that I’ll return to try another burger. The fries are good and the free refills are a plus. Friendly staff and very helpful. The best reason to come back is the beer on tap!

Simply the best. Have eaten at this location quite a few times since opening. I’ve had a few different burgers by my favorite by far is the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger. Their fries are great too.

OK, I get the fuss over long lines(still aint fun) on weekends(folks skipping neighboring Red Robin for only authentic burger joint in town). I dared my first Killer burger by picking Bender and it mostly worked except I came off unclear tastewise with concoction of ingredients after the sumptuous beef and soft bun. A little reorganization of order-taking process may help speed things up. After all, who likes waiting when the flavors spread miles and cooks thumping chests and voices in a high-octane atmosphere(sport channels on multiple TVs gracing walls).

This location in Sherwood is new and it’s definitely different from all the other Killer Burgers. Unlike the others, this doesn’t have the old, dark, dingy feeling of the other Killer Burgers. This one is new, open, bright and clean. Burgers are always awesome and I agree with those that continuously rate Killer Burger the #1 burger in Portland.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Killer Burger. I did a DIY burger and ordered a side of the peanut butter sauce to try with my fries. They had some kind of happy hour going on 3 – 5 I think. I ordered a draft beer that was great, then I ordered a second of the same beer– but it was different– bummer. The music is way too loud, and I don’t usually notice that kind of thing. There was a few games playing on the flat screens. We will be back.

Not very impressed, the gal at the counter was rude and condescending. I apologized for bothering her with my dumb questions and informed her that I won’t bother her again. As in EVER

Burger is as good as expected… lives up to the name. Frys are better than most. Only neg. is that the annoying music is too loud to talk to your friend(s) without yelling & the server that brings your burger scaring customers as the yell out a ready order name. We’re not all 17 year old boys… crank it down the chain saw music a couple notches.

First Killer Burger experience and expectations were high. This location definitely delivered. Caution: do not go here looking for something healthy. Killer Burger does one meal and does it very well: the good ol’ classic Burgers and Fries. I stayed away from the PB and went with the Barnyard sans Ham. Bacon was sufficient. There are four things that made it a great burger: The bun: Fresh, perfect size, and toasted! The burger: Good size and tasty. The bacon: No floppy bacon here! Perfectly cooked so you can bite into it. The fries: Delicious and cooked to perfection with just enough salt. Bottomless. Also bonus, you can«girlie size» your burger, issues with the name aside, it is a nice option if you want to save a buck and aren’t starving. Just a few downsides: 1. Not enough seating — hopefully summer will be better because you could use the patio. 2. No milkshakes — seriously needed some chocolate and ice cream action with my fries. 3. Difficult to re-order beer/cider — not worth standing in the long line again. Notes: This is an order at the counter then sit and wait for your name to be called place. Quick service once you get through the(long) line. They bus. Family friendly but also a great place to meet up with friends. A little loud, but not too bad. Veggie burger available. Will definitely be back!

Perhaps I was stupid to believe that peanut butter on a greasy burger with bacon would be a good idea. I am adventurous with my food and a lot of people I know told me that the peanut butter and pickle burger was worth the hype. So of course I ordered it, the first 2 bites weren’t bad, luckily I had the mayo on the side. It wasn’t necessary. After the first two bites, I just kept feeling more and more nauseous by the minute. Also whilst eating, my boyfriend and I noticed how much water we were drinking. We then realized the bacon in the burger was the culprit– pure salt. Super gross!!! It was not delicious. Although, I will say I did enjoy their fries, but I feel like I’d have to be SUPER hungry to order more fries to get the bottomless deal. As for how they do their service– I felt as though it wasn’t thought out or efficient. First off it’s super busy with loud music playing and they just shout out your name to get the food to your table. If you aren’t paying attention, you definitely won’t get your food. My boyfriend and I were just constantly making sure we paid attention, wouldn’t just giving everyone a number to display be much easier? Anyways, don’t think I’ll go back anytime soon. My boyfriend and I are currently nursing our stomach aches! Womp, womp! :(

Family orientated town with yet another fast-food burger joint. Music was played so loud couldn’t even have a conversation with the significant other or kids. Ordered a simple Pilsner and charged me for it but after paying the server notified me they were out and brought over a half filled glass. Went with a substitute but not my cup of tea. Burger was very salty and the smokey house sauce has mustard. Even my daughter who I consider a garbage disposal ate only half of her burger. Service was mediocre and had to ask several times to get a simple condiment resulted in going up to the counter to request for it. Would I recommend? Only if you have low sodium and under Doctors’ order. Just make sure you bring a potato to soak up some of the salt.

We are Killer Burger devotees! Thrilled that the new location is conveniently located(for us Beaverton peeps) in Sherwood. Sherwood Staff was super friendly(of course), my burger(PB, pickle, bacon, add lettuce, girly size) was perfect and fries were hot and crispy. Total perfection! This is not a fast food joint… it’s a yummy burger joint that cooks your meal to order, great music and friendly staff. It’s not Red Robin(thank Gawd)! Get in and get your burger ON! Recommend the Fun Guy(mushroom amazing-ness) & Peanut Butter & Pickle(trust me, it’s perfection). Always get a side of ranch for my fries! #NomNomNom

I know everyone has their own experiences at restaurants and I’m glad to say we had a great one here. This was our first time at a Killer Burger and I’m glad we tried it. They have quite a few different house burgers, or you can make one to order. My wife and I loved our burgers so we’ll be back. The staff was very friendly and they take pride in keeping everything clean. Thank you for the hospitality.
