Best coffee I’ve ever tasted and the baristas are«genuine»…not coffee snobs, but friendly and a delight.

Stumptown coffee, decent pastries and a fantastic old home. What is not to like? The prices are high,($ 4 for a small latte) but if you are looking for a place to hang out with friends and get a good cup of coffee this place fits the bill.

I stumbled upon this place while driving past and decided I had to try it. The ambience is very warm and the baristas welcomed me with a friendly hello. I ordered a lavender latte and it was amazing. The order came out quick and had real pieces of lavender on top of the drink. I downed the drink way too quickly, but it was too good to stop. I highly recommend Symposium and the lavender latte. I can’t wait to go back again!

So I tried to make sure I went to a different coffee place each time when I was up visiting my cousin in Oregon. My plan was almost ruined when I went to Symposium first because I knew nothing else would be as good. I had read reviews recommending the Lavender Latte so that’s what I tried(soy milk instead of regular milk). I will dream of this latte for months now that I’m home and can’t have one. It was delicious with a perfect hint of lavender. My cousin tried me the Mexican Mocha which she said was one of her favorites. She also tried the Peppermint Patty Mocha which came with a yummy patty on the side of the drink. There’s lots of tables and areas to study, plus an upstairs and front porch. Seemed like a lot of ppl take advantage of the great study atmosphere. The staff was polite, cheerful and friendly. The whole place was tidy as well. In the end I did branch out and try different places but I came back one last time before hopping on my plane for another lavender latte. This was definitely my favorite coffee place so far that I went to during my visit.

Always amazing coffee and friendly staff!!! Love this place! They make a lot of their own syrups. The salted caramel mocha knocks Starbucks out of the park! Don’t get me started on their cardamom latte, sooooo yummy. Symposium has numerous rooms where people can hang out and have privacy. I’ve met up for coffee and to play cards with friends there :) love it!

Best service and fast. Even on a very busy day they are fast and super friendly. My favorite is a lavender latte and the quiche.

Ok, love this place already! Friendly staff, a farmhouse turned coffee house, very clean, decent cuppa, you can sit on the porch in an Adirondack chair with the breeze, watching the cars go by! Upstairs is a little room for the kids, with a few toys, and a beautiful pine cabinet! It brings back goood memories of the farmhouses I lived in growing up. A lot of the old woodwork is still in place. I just love that old– house feel!

Met here for a business meeting. Enjoyed very nice ambiance, wonderful customer service and yummy coffee while we chatted. They have outdoor seating, indoor seating and a back room that we used for our meeting. Symposium Coffee is a really cute place to hang out in old town Sherwood. Would definitely go back! LOVE their alternative milk options. Hazelnet milk, hemp milk, soy milk, and I think there was a 4th option too. Stumptown coffee is good stuff, really great!

What a cozy, cool place. A lot of different seating places. It’s a old Victorian home with lots of nooks on different levels. And The coffee was very good. And the service was friendly.

By far the best lavender latte that I’ve ever had. I’ve tried them all over the country, but this will always be my favorite stop. If you live more towards Portland like I do, trust me when I say that it is worth the drive. Other good treats include their Americano and cold brew coffee. Symposium is truly the gem of Sherwood!

Stumbled upon this coffee shop after taking my daughter to the park nearby. It looked really cute so we decided to pop in for lunch. I had a delicious turkey wrap and iced green tea. I would have tried one of their yummy sounding lattes if I hadn’t already had two cups of coffee that morning. They have unusual ones like cardamom and lavender. We sat outside and had a really nice time. I overheard someone else saying they had driven up from Salem just to come here. The staff were friendly, lots of gluten free options if that’s your thing, I could easily have spent the afternoon here.

Went out of my way this morning to try this place out and man was it worth it! One of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in a while and I go to coffee houses alot. The staff member who helped me was very pleasant and knowledgeable about coffee I will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area.

I love this location, not as much as the one closer to my home, but that’s just my distance prejudice kicking in. Bad me! Their Stumptown coffee is really top notch, but it’s their interesting concoctions that make me drool — bowl of soul is certainly worth trying, as is the paradise punch latte(sounds odd, tastes great) but my hard to order anything else favorite is the lavender latte. I do ask for ½ flavoring, or it can be overwhelming to your lunch, but it is strangely heavenly. I stop here every time I drive through old Sherwood. Check it out.

This is a little slice of heaven. I’ve enjoyed this coffee house for years, love the setting and ambiance. Fun, funky, rustic, comfortable and cozy! Great place to have meetings or just enjoy some great coffee, tea, treats or lunch. Fast wifi, plenty of seating, private rooms, covered front porch. DELICIOUS coffee, my favorite — Stumptown! Owners and staff are very kind, service is fast. Love working from my laptop there, it’s a great feel good environment! Two locations, Sherwood and Tigard. Locally owned.

Best coffee shop in Sherwood! It’s located in a Craftsman house so there is a porch where you can sit and enjoy your coffee outside. There’s plenty of seating indoor and they have a Sun Room in the back of the café. They serve Stumptown Coffee so their coffee here is really good. The service is also excellent. We’ve had a quiche and croissants here and they are good too. We walk here from my father in law’s house whenever we’re visiting!
