Coming back from the High Cliffs park, I stopped at The Chubby Seagull for some ice cream.
Walking in you find a decent sized room. There is the standard ice cream freezer on the right and simple metal chairs and tables on the left. The air conditioned room was perfect for eating ice cream and recovering from the sunshine outside.
The counter was being managed by a couple of teenage girls that scooped our ice cream. They were pleasant and served us with a smile.
Everyone in my party ordered a single scoop of different ice cream flavors in waffles cones. The «scoop» size was very generous, but about what I would expect for $ 3 per cone.
The Chubby Seagull is a good old fashioned ice cream shop and I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
