I got my hair cut and colored here a couple weeks ago and finally have time to write this review.
Bethany is AMAZING! She really took the time to talk with me about the cut, color and style I was wanting for my hair. After having long hair for nearly 6 years, I finally decided to chop it off. I showed her several pictures of what I wanted and she practically nailed the exact image I showed her. She also did it gradually so until I was comfortable with the length I wanted. After cutting my hair she also gave me practical advice on how to take care and style my hair in the future which is something I really appreciated.
If you like my hair cut (see photos), I asked for a long bob (Lob) with a slight A line, and caramel bayalage highlights.
If you want quality service, experienced hair cutting hands, and real advice about anything regarding hair cut/​color/​style/​care that you are seeking, ask for Bethany Lewis and she will not disappoint!

I was going here since 2008 to see Donna with some breaks in between. In 2008 Donna cut my hair, she did a good job however, because she talks a lot and does not pay attention when she is talking as she was styling my hair after my hair cut, she burned side of my forehead. When Donna noticed she apologized and I did not make a big deal even tho it did hurt especially when I showered. I went home my husband was not happy about Donna’s negligence and unfocused behavior and wanted me to make a complain and insisted for me to make one. Being the person that I am I did not want to cause Donna any grief. Forward years later now in 2015, I went back for a cut on Monday 4/​13, and asked to make an appointment with Donna the girl who took my appointment made it fast did not ask me any questions or even bothered to give me a card, she booked it and walked away and left me standing by desk as I continued to ask more questions. Either way the appt was set for the coming Thursday at 5:30 with Donna, so I left and came home. Later the next day Donna and I connected on the phone and I asked her if she could color my hair too and she said she couldn’t on Thursday-(rightfully so) but that she could do my cut and that she could do my color on Saturday, so I said «Ok let’s set time» and she replied I am too busy and I can’t right now-​we will have to set it on Thursday when you come in for your hair cut. I kinda hesitated because I have SUPER tight schedule, but gave her the benefit and stayed flexible so I gave it a try. Thursday morning (The day of my hair cut appointment) comes by and I get a voice message from Donna letting me know that she will not be able to color my hair on Saturday and in addition will not be available to cut my hair on Thursday (the day she called), and it be best for me to find someone else to do it, because she was too busy and had to cancel my appointment. Donna did not sound apologetic one bit, she sounded more as «I am too busy and I don’t have my act together». I was upset because I had big plans on Friday and needed my cut/​style for the next morning and I already had my appointment at 5:30, before she canceled it. I called Donna back and she did not answer or even bothered to apologize over the phone or in person. I let her know on her voice mail that her calling me on the same day of the appointment did not give me ample time to find someone else since I had plans and needed it my hair cut the next morning. I let her know that I planned on making a complain and that I though she was exceedingly unprofessional. Till this day I have not heard back from her.
— Over all my experience with her was HORRIBLE!!!
That’s what I get for trusting and giving people the benefit of the doubt!

I’ve been going here for 10 years. My haircut and color always looks super. Linda has a lot of experience and is the best stylist I’ve ever had, I had some scalp problems but, they’re gone now. Also, Shauna does great on my nails, she always comes up with a beautiful new color. The prices they charge are reasonable and moderate. I watch other stylists while I’m under the dryer and their customers always seem happy with the results too.

Annette Humphries (Unique Skin Art) was my Esthetician today at Shear FX, and I must say, she is the BEST Esty I have had in a very long time! I don’t usually gush like this, but CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!! Not only did she understand my skin needs instantly, but she handled my care in such a way that only a very professional and experienced Esty can.
My facial began with a beautiful room that has one of her custom murals at the foot of the Massage table. I instantly felt relaxed-​as if on vacation– with her décor and easy demeanor. She took the time to pre-​warm the table and let me know that my comfort was her top priority. Throughout the process, she explained each step with out talking too much, but giving me essential information I needed to enjoy the experience. At one point she even explained briefly that she would be quiet during the massage portion of the Facial, so I could just meditate or even fall asleep! She educated me on some products without trying to «sell me» on any of them, and even gave me a free sample of something new to try! Most Estys chastise me when I say what products I use, but Annette was sympathetic to my budget and told me WHY I should use some products over others. She really let me ENJOY the experience!
I will definitely be back for more, and NOW she is adding some anti-​aging services as well. I am very interested in rolling the clock back 10 years in just a few treatments! Please ask for Annette when looking for a Facialist/​Esthetician. She is a Master of her craft and ARTIST through and through… you should see the pictures of her make-​up portfolio and body painting!

I get my nails done by Nanci at ShearFX and I love her! One of my biggest gripes about other nail salons is that the acrylic always seems to peel up on the sides for me, leaving my nails looking terrible or breaking off in no time. When Nanci does my nails I know I don’t have to worry about it, which is something I had almost given up hope on.
She’s also a total sweetheart and I love chatting with her at my appointments. Highly recommend!

Have gone to several different stylists here and they’ve done always done a good job.
