Sunsations

We shopped the Sunsations Store is the Southern end of LBI, which is located on the LBI Blvd; Not the Sunsations Store that is located in the Shopping plaza across from the Ferris Wheel, which that store IS MUCH SMALLER WITH MUCH LESS ITEMS TO SELECT FROM.
The Sunsations on the Southern End of the Island was FANTASTIC; A HUGE Store … the Store is the size of a Mini Mall.
I shopped with my Girlfriend Here on our (unfortunately) last day of Vacation, (fortunately) for us the smaller store was closed — which that store had a sign in their window to visit their other Location a few blocks south, and We were so happy that we did.
The Larger store has so much many more items to view and purchase. Low prices on Shirts, Shoes, Mugs, Glasses, etc. = EVERYTHING!
We are so looking forward on our next annual September Vacation to LBI, where this Store will be our 1^st stop for Souvenirs and our own shopping.
The Checkout Girl was very friendly and helpful.
The store is HUGE, so give yourself time to shop.
We are looking forward to returning to LBI and Sunsations, and although we are located in Clearwater, FL, after I complete this review, I am heading over to the Sunsations website to make a few purchases. Curtiss & Lorraine Herring

This store has everything you need for LBI and souvenirs. From t-​shirts to keychains, you name it. Some things are a little over priced, like their regular women’s clothing, but other things are priced reasonably. Staff is okay, not overly friendly, kind of standoff-​ish. They are open late, so you can definitely stop by at any time.

Of course this is a touristy place (to the other review), that is what it is catering to! If you want the touristy tshirts and other knick knacks, come to this place! They can screen print a shirt for you or you can pick from hundreds of other designs! Friendly staff and decent prices!

Very nice staff. Great place to go when looking for souvenirs, local gear or beach stuff. Reasonably priced!
The manager gave me a free box of Taffy since I was a repeat customer!

Not a big fan of Sunsations… first off, tourist trap of epic proportions. Overpriced cheesy shore clothes. Second, I don’t know why, but whenever we’ve been here I feel like the staff follow people around-​like they’re worried that everyone who comes in the door is a shoplifter. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re looking for some quick gifts from your visit to LBI, you’ll find it here, but you’re gonna pay more than you should. Definite LBI pricing here.
