Shirley Motel

Absolutely disgusting place. Came here with my Dad for a baseball trip to baseball heaven. The rooms are grimy, dirty and the place smells. The carpet is all stained and there were pubic hairs laying in the shower. It was so disgusting that I slept in my suit case. When we got up in the morning there were 3 cop cars outside of the motel. God knows why they were there but you can only assume it wasn’t good. STAY AWAY!!!

I shouldn’t have trusted the quality of a motel where the desk clerk asked if I was staying the whole night. This is the worst smelling motel I’ve ever stayed in. The walls are stained and greasy. The light fixtures are broken. There’s no way to control the heat. The room is small. The key got stuck in the deadbolt. There were three open cans of «four loco» under the sink, two were empty and one half empty. I woke up at 5:00 a.m. to a party going on in the next room. From now on I will remember to ask to see a room before I pay at any motel.
The bed and bathroom seem clean. This place would be ok with a little paint, deodorizing, and general maintenance. I was able to get a cheaper rate by asking, but it was still overpriced for what you get. I would suggest staying somewhere else. Even if you have to stay farther away from where you want to be.
