Andy was our photographer for the 2014 Seattle Asian American Film Festival Opening Night Gala, and he did a terrific job listening to our needs, communicating expectations, and shooting great photos — specifically, capturing party ambiance and audience interaction as we requested. We also asked Andy for a quick one-​day turnaround on the photos (to post on Facebook), which didn’t allow him much time to edit, but he happily obliged and delivered the high-​quality photos (easily downloadable through his client-​login website) on time, and we were very happy with the results.

My husband and I recently need to hire a photographer to capture family pictures and I am happy to say that we hired Andrew Kawahara Photography. Andrew is extremely dedicated and has amazing vision. He came to our location, provided his expert opinion and spent a ridiculous amount of time tailoring to my family’s lofty expectations. One thing you can’t teach is initiative and Andrew clearly has it!
I just want to say that his photos has exceeded our expectations and we strongly recommend that you hire Andrew as your next photographer.

Andrew is a great guy to work with. I recently got married last June in Italy and was very fortunate in finding Andrew as our photographer. Although his current passion is for sports and action photography, he did a wonderful job with our wedding. We were extremely happy with the outcome of the photos as he captured our special day in the perfect way. I would recommend Andrew to anyone as he continues to pursue his passion for photography.
