Horrible food and horrible waitstaff. Ordered family spaghetti style dinner to go and was told to pick up in 20 minutes. 2O minutes I am there and waitress tells me it will be ready in 5. 1O minutes goes by with several other people getting orders– I inquire again and she tells me they are boxing it up and now ready in 4 minutes. I wait 5 minutes and go back into the kitchen– they tell me to get my waitress– I get her and she tells me it will be right out-another 10 more minutes –and out it comes. I live 5 minutes away and the spaghetti was COLD, the bread was rubbery– Food was suppose to be ready in 20 — took 45 minutes– crappy food and crappy service– embarrassed to serve the food to our guests– never going back

I ordered the Chicken Parm and wow I was amazed at the accuracy of this restaurant’s Unilocal rating! Unilocal users previously rating this place; maximum respect for your accuracy! No taste at all, bland as hell! Oh god I really am missing that ziti and ground beef gravy dad made for brunch this President’s Day Monday. Go to a gas station and munch on some Funions and drink Pepsi you’re better off; trust me.

Had been wanting to try Gino’s for a while and finally gave it a chance. Big mistake. Ordered take out tonight and was greatly dissatisfied. We had a vegetarian pizza, the crust tasted like cardboard. We also had garden salads that tasted like they must have come from a bag or were just really old. The garlic bread was a joke. I totally understand it’s connected to a bowling alley, so my expectations were not high from the start, but you never know right? Don’t waste your time.

I’d like to give a 3 star rating to average out the overall experiences that I’ve had(and continue to have) at this place. There just isn’t enough time on bowling nights to stop elsewhere to get a bite and we end up just eating here. Usually the food is quite, quite good. I’ve had the best empanadas here. Their Italian sub sammy is top-notch. The french fries used to be a treat when they used italian seasoning on them but they no longer do that and so now they are just formerly frozen fries. I tried the lasagna last year and it was served cold. That was gross. But, the next week a table mate ordered the lasagna and it was piping hot. Such inconsistency is the norm for this place. The pizza is best ordered on the small side since, although the toppings are fresh and tasty, the larger pizzas are too soggy to eat unless you use a knife and fork. You have to look like a dork with a fork unless you want to actually wallow in a slice of pie. My advice is to skip the pizza altogether and go elsewhere if that is what you want. Something else they do not do. Give free refills on soda and iced tea. They charge over $ 2 for a large tea and won’t give a refill unless you cough up more dough. Just order the water. I’ve heard that the problem with this place is the owner. I think this place would shine if he/she handed over the running of the place to someone a bit fresher who might care a bit more about both the customers and their staff.

Had worst BLT ever. Like how do you screw up a BLT other than using the lowest quality ingredients. Ugh. Wonder Bread? Really?! And I got the heel! $ 8.99 for barely toasted Wonder Bread, Iceberg lettuce, swiss cheese —(say what?!), low quality bacon, under-ripe tomato, mayo & lukewarm french fries. It was terrible. What do you expect from a bowling alley.

Horrible service, the one waitress likes to stand in the bar and yak, burnt pizza when it finally came, will not recommend. I see this establishment closing within the year.

Ok… let’s start with the good: great dinner companion, nice waitress, gregarious, honest, nice. That’s kinda where it ended. Food, mediocre at best(although probably the burgers are the best thing on the menu — weird, right?). I had the bacon avocado burger. First of all, the bacon was overcooked… there’s crispy and there’s Gino’s crispy. It’s so hard, it took some effort to crunch through it. The avocado? It’s mashed… and slightly discolored… probably a guac mix that came out of a bag. The meat part of the burger is good, and the toppings are fresh. The fries are bleh. Oni had the chicken alfredo linguine… he was fine with it, but he is a self professed«I can’t really taste or smell well, but I just love eating» foodie, so I am not sure how much stock I’d in that. Overall, it’s fine and perfectly edible, but definitely not someplace I would go again unless there is some seriously compelling reasons(notice — plural) to do so.

Never again! Came here for a «quick» lunch with the kids after bowling. After waiting over an hour for our food, our group was ready to get up and leave when half of our order came out of the kitchen. We should have known there would be a problem when our waiter didn’t know what a high chair was. Next time, we’ll drive home for lunch. The only reason they get two stars is because they comped part of the meal due to our extremely long wait. Word of caution: they serve the bowling alley next store as well, so make sure there is not a large party in there before you order.

We continue to go to this place because the food is really good, very reasonably priced and they let our dogs on the patio. I don’t know why this place is not busier! It’s the best kept secret in north Seattle — there is nothing better on a sunny summer evening than sitting on the patio with your dogs having a lovely glass of Rodney Strong cabernet(only $ 7 a glass, what??), munching on a crispy Ceasar salad with garlicky homemade garlic break or a Greek pizza with the best crust this side of Chicago. Really, such a great little place, not sure why it’s not busier. Great food, great prices, staff is awesome. Even our dogs love this place!!! Try Gino’s!!! You will become a regular.

Food was disgusting. Cheap ingredients, food was overdone. We will not waste our money here again.

My husband I just moved near by and we absolutely love Gino’s and Spin Alley. They are a fantastic gem and I’m glad we found them! I’ll start with Gino’s though, I couldn’t believe they served real Italian food at your lane! I ordered the chicken alfredo not having high hopes the first time and my husband ordered the cheaper chicken and fries($ 5.95 totally worth the price). The service was(and is always) super friendly and fast. I was delightfully surprised by the fettuccine it is and has become my favorite dish period, I love when Jacob makes it especially because I have come to love his personal recipe! He makes is rich, super creamy, always fully cooked– sometimes blackened-chicken, perfectly cooked mushrooms, onion and seasonings make this dish bursting with flavor and he always adds plenty of cheese! I love going on Tues/Thurs when its $ 2 milkshake, hotdogs, and game day, its such a deal for such a great dinner and fun. They also make the best malt and regular shakes in a fifties style diner on the bowling side makes you feel like your back in the day! Besides the bowling lanes, and the fifties style dining area there is a full dining area with nice big new tvs everyway you could be facing, and full bar(we don’t drink though but it looks nice and the restrooms have always been clean. I think they must have changed servers or something after the crappy reviews here because they are super nice, helpful, and fast every time we visit. I love the younger guy/cook/seater(Jacob) he is so nice and on top of it, if he knows we are the ones who ordered the food he comes out to say hi we like that extra acknowledgment he doesn’t have to but it makes us feel appreciated as customers, he is really a great cook I don’t know how he cooks my fettuccine so good, its better than my personal recipe :) The other two girls are super sweet, attentive, and on top things like drink refills, ect. I hope you try this place, we’ve been coming here weekly or atleast every two weeks for the last 3 months and have not had any bad experiences.

I have never been in to sit down, but have ordered take out from them many times. Crust is crispy thin and delicious, if you like a good coverage of toppings without overdoing it on the cheese this might be your ideal pizza, I would prefer a little more generosity with the toppings and cheese myself, but my parents love this for not feeling too heavy, and it’s certainly very tasty.

Service was ATROCIOUS! The waitress was really rude, didn’t keep our glasses full, had to come back multiple times to confirm our order, didn’t understand when we asked a simple question, and brought us plates that weren’t even big enough for one pizza slice. The restrooms were revolting. There were no toilet seat covers, the toilet seat was dirty and one of the stalls was out of toilet paper. Gross. On the plus side, the food was actually really good once we got it. We had pizza and breadsticks, and the other people with us had a salad and a pizza(if you like mushrooms and decide to brave the restaurant, get the Molly mushroom pizza). Will I go back? Umm… no.

We love that Maltby Pizza and Pasta decided to add another location in our neighborhood. Love that they’re in the Spin Alley bowling alley; such a great addition to our kid’s hang-out spot. Days after their opening we ordered take-out pizza — ½ cheese and ½ Hawaiian. So yummy! The crust was perfect in thickness and flavor — very important. The topping portions were perfectly balanced as well. Happy customers! We will definitely become regulars here… pizza once a week at least!
