The respect, the art, the magic… the people and the space is all encompassing. It is rare that the spirit of a studio is preserved through generations of ownership, but THIS is an everlasting studio full of life and passion. Dreams are brought to life here. And that neve… oh that board. Bless the fingertips that coax the sound. And the voices that guide.

When you want something done right you go to London Bridge. Geoff Ott is one of the most incredible engineers on the planet. I refuse to record anywhere else.

We had a split session totaling 20 hours this weekend, and spent 10 of which at LBS. The studio I think is ‘as good as it gets’ in Seattle. Orbit Audio MIGHT have better outboard, but the LBS space is far superior.
The main room is huge, and sounds really big for live drums. The have a Yamaha grand piano which sounded really lush and beautiful. Also great guitar sounds in that room with amp and room mics. They don’t have a true vocal booth, but you should be able to track something that you can keep. The control room is spacious and has analog board.
They have pretty massive lobby and kitchen for downtime. Includes big screen TV, Foosball, and pool table. Nice leather couches for naps while band mate is on their 20^th guitar take.
Lastly, we worked with Frank Mazzeo who engineers at LBS and has his own personal studio. He was a big part of our positive experience and is VERY good at his craft. The session was run very professionally and efficiently. All appropriate studio magic tricks were used with midi and our shitload of key tracks. I look forward to future sessions and finishing this LP!

Pearl Jam loves it here and so do I. A place for a band to come together and create, what more could you ask for. The walls are lined with platnum records, photos, and signatures. The employees couldn’t be nicer or more talented.
