Awesome service and people!!! My car runs better and I can relax about
the brakes.

Not sure why they get a 5, our experience has been mixed. Any question involving a diagnosis responded with a $ 120 quote to investigate. I get that at one level but the customer service is lacking.

I thought there was a problem with the a/​c in my car, so I took it to Scott’s shop and he checked it out. It turned out there was nothing wrong with my car! He told me that he even researched on the Internet to see what could be wrong. He’s very honest and his prices are quite fair. He didn’t even charge me because there was some kind of free inspection deal going on. Other places would have charged a lot, even though there wasn’t anything wrong with my car! This place is great and if I ever have car troubles I’m definitely coming here again!

Scott Maass at the Shoreline location ROCKS the car-​services world. I have complete confidence that anything my car needs (and nothing more) will be seen and taken care of, and at affordable prices. As a bonus, his communication is respectful and in lay-woman’s terms. It can’t get any better than this.

my car was acting funny one day then it died, a friend referred me to them and they even offered towing if i needed it. i managed to get my car into them and they diagnosed and fixed the problem the same day. i had them add on an oil change since they were already working on it. they were HONEST, fast, and super nice.
they were also over $ 150 less than what the dealership quoted me (not including the extra oil change)

I had to have my car checked out, it was acting out of tune. Their was ugly noise, and shaking in my steering wheel; I assumed it had something to do with my brakes. It got to a point where I didn’t feel safe to drive, and my bf recommended me to come to Scott Sherman Auto Care.
I’m so glad I did. He was honest, and very friendly. He made sure I understood all the complications that was going on with my car (which there was many). He had my car fixed and tuned out.

If you don’t mind paying 40% more for the neighborhood convenience this shop is for you. Charged $ 400.00 for a strut replacement, and then went elsewhere and had the other replaced for $ 250.00. Over charges for parts and labor!

I’ve worked with these guys for almost a decade and in three different locations. They have always been honest and a pleasure to work with. I’ve seen them stand behind their parts and service on more then one occasion when the situation called for it, make money saving recommendations and behave like an Auto Care shop should. I highly recommend these guys! if you’re in Shoreline, work with Scott, he really takes you through the process and explains the solution well.

Honest and good people

Scott Sherman has taken care of my personal and commercial vehicles for the last 5 years. They are always honest, thorough and stand by their work. In addition, they do an awesome job explaining everything to this non car person. I recommend them for all your auto care needs. You can’t do better than this.

Went in for an oil change because I had a groupon. Scott was flexible with fitting me in when I showed up early. Very friendly too, highly recommend! Support a local.

I had such a great experience here – very accommodating and took just a little over an hour. They ordered me a new special filter and did everything so timely and most importantly didn’t break anything haha. I just hung around the nearby coffee shop and Walgreens to waste time. I will definitely be back again :)

Customer Service and reliability are as good as it gets at this shop! I have a very difficult vehicle to work on and have been to many shops in the area that have taken advantage of me and have had no clue what they are doing. Finding Scott Sherman was a blessing! This shop is the most honest and reliable shop I have ever worked with. I highly recommend this shop to any and everyone. These guys are absolutely amazing. If I can trust my baby there anyone can trust their vehicle there! They truly go above and beyond when it comes to customer service and doing the right thing.

Best auto care service place in the Seattle/​Shoreline area! Mechanics are skilled, friendly, and don’t trick you into more then you need. Chris is our mechanic and he is friendly and very knowledgable. Prices are comparable to most and you get the most for your money here! Whenever there is a good deal, they will make sure and let you know about it! Love Scott Sherman! If you live too far from this one… the one in Magnolia is equally superb!

These guys are fantastic! I’m no expert on auto care, yet from what I can see they are friendly, resourceful, helpful, have fair prices, and work fast under a deadline. I came in after a quick call this afternoon (without an appointment), and within the hour they diagnosed the problem, and within the next hour had my car fixed and ready to go. This was all a half hour under the deadline they gave me, which is hard to be upset about!
Yet this speaks nothing of their friendliness and superb service. When I expressed concern in needing to get to my bank, one of the mechanics let me borrow the company van. I’m not a regular, and yet they were kind enough to provide me with the means to run my errand while I was waiting. I’m sold! I’m never taking my car anywhere else.

I brought my van into Jeremy to get the air fixed. The price was what he quoted, they fixed in the time they estimated, they were friendly but on top of that they checked the whole car over to make sure everything else was in working order. After several bad experiences at the dealership, I like that the fact that the person checked me in is also the one doing the work. Great job and I will be back!

I just went here for an oil change and inspection (got a coupon for $ 19.99 in the Valpak envelope). I had a good experience, and recommend this place.
Service was quick, and they were ready for my appointment when I arrived. I wasn’t even done with the coffee I had ordered a little ways up the street when they called me back to say they were done.
As expected, I had to pay an extra $ 10 for the oil grade my car usually uses (even though it’s cheaper at the store than what they said they offer with the deal), and I probably should have just replaced the light over the license plate myself instead of paying them to do it.
That said, the light bulk change was really laziness on my part, since I dont know how to do it but I could have figured it out. My car apparently has some other things wrong with it, but I appreciate that they didn’t try to talk me into repairing them right away since they’re not likely to fail for a while.
