My husband and I had about 11 single pane or old double pane windows replaced by Skyline 15 years ago. At the 9.5 year mark, well within the guarantee period of 10 years the vinyl framed double-pane windows started to fail and develop condensation between the panes. I had told the owner about this problem but did not follow through. Recently, I met with the owner who has agreed to replace all of the failed windows his company installed despite the expired warranty. He said«My company stands behind its windows.» I think this is a great way to do business and I am so thankful that the company will replace the glass in their failed windows. Of course, I will pay the labor but that is expected.

I see the previous reviewer never had an install — I did. In my 40 years of dealing with installers/contractors, this company is just about the worst. After installing the wrong window, he proceeded to lie, misquote, not return phone calls, make promises he didn’t keep, promise work ‘off the clock’ he didn’t do — you name it. All the while acting like Mr.Friendly. Also — found out through some research that the windows/materials they sold me are rated very inferior.

I’ve never had these guys install a window for me, but I have ordered double paned replacement glass from them. There shop is down home and was staffed with informed friendly people who took the time to understand my situation. They even offered me a better solution than I was considering. I didn’t get the brush off for my mere $ 80 in windows: I got help. When the windows arrived, I actually got a call to come and get em. Yeah for customer service.
