This is a super awesome, grassroots place for all types of roller derby. I’ve been here a few times, and it does exactly what it needs to do. As far as it goes as a facility, it is a bit sparse; there’s just the track and the lobby area in front, and even if you don’t think much from what you see, you can tell that there is a lot of ownership of this place from the layout and decorations. It’s clearly a space owned by Rat City Rollergirls, but I’ve also seen other teams playing here too, like junior derby and men’s teams. The track is in pretty good condition and gets taken care of often. Recently it was changed to a concrete floor and is pretty slick to skate on. I think everyone is still getting used to it, but it has a lot of potential. There’s plenty of parking in the lot next to the venue and also down the street.
