This place is great. The husband/wife combo are super welcoming and easy to talk to and they do a great job. Only two pedicure chairs so you need to make an appointment.

I like this salon. And would give it more stars if the owners were more personable. Perhaps it is just me, but they seem like you are just a number. That being said, I really like the attention Stacy takes to your nails and they are speedy! It is my only nail place and I will continue to go. Just wish they were a bit more customer service oriented.

So lucky to have a nail salon next to my house that gives the best pedicures. Ty & Stacie are amazing and so friendly!

I’ve been getting my nails done for many years and I think I’m pretty lucky to live near TJ Nails! Stacey and her husband are both wonderful people, who run a very clean and professional salon here in Richmond Beach. I’ve had gel nails, acrylics, and pedicures done here and I’ve never been disappointed. One major difference with the service is attention to detail — Stacey makes sure that the nail bed isn’t damaged — this is often the case with many other salons I’ve had to visit on the fly all over greater Seattle. I truly appreciate TJ Nails and will be coming through for sure! Cheers

I was a ‘walk in’ today at TJ Nails and had a pedicure. The woman working today did not smile much and seemed to be in a bad mood so I kept to myself. The pedicure was not great. I wish she spent a little more time using the pumice on my callouses. The lotion massage was not very good. She squirted a dollop on each leg and rubbed up and down on one until it was thoroughly rubbed in and then rubbed in the lotion on the other leg, in an up and down motion. My left foot got a little bit of massage but just for a split second. The nail polish application was fine. Nothing fancy, just simple polish. While waiting on the couch for my toenails to dry, I watched her wash the tools in the sink under hot water(it wasn’t too hot as she had her hands in the water) and put them back on a towel for the next person. Then she rinsed out the foot bath with water. No disinfectant, just water. Yuck! I will not be returning to TJ Nails because I prefer to patronize a nail salon that sanitizes the tools, disinfects the foot bath, and gives a massage that is relaxing and feels great.

I have never had a bad experience here! I have been going to see Stacey since High School, for every event! I moved away from Shoreline and have not been to see her in a long time, but will be returning shortly so I am super EXCITED!

This place is located right next to a dry cleaning place in a small plaza in the Richmond Beach area. I called in beforehand to see if they had room for me and even though they seemed busy they told me to come in anyways, which I appreciated. However, as soon as I walked in, I was definitely taken aback by the fact the place is literally smaller than my walk in closet. Also, they only had 2 pedicure salon seats. There were already 3 women there and both the pedicure stations were filled. There are only 3 people working(the owners) and I guess they had a friend visiting from Vietnam because she didn’t understand anything I was saying, nor could I understand her. Little did I know when this person first started working on my manicure that she was inexperienced and was only visiting. This was something I thought was completely inappropriate. Also, the wife seemed like she was not in the mood to help me out. They used an airbrush to do my French tips manicure, which I thought was odd because I didn’t get my nails filled. And when the husband was doing my pedicure, it seemed like he didn’t even bother to change the tools he was using for the other customers. Way unsanitary. My total expenditures were $ 45 for a french mani/pedi as well as a nail design. All in all, I will definitely not be coming back here.

You lucky lucky lucky people of Shoreline!!! Why is it that the best nail artists are all out in the suburbs? These days with a Vietnamese nail salon on every block, the good ones can get lost in the crowd. This is one you want to seek out and travel to… even you Seattle gals. This is a one-woman operation and Miss Stacey is worth the wait. Used to be you could sashay in and get served, but you may want to get an appointment these days. Those of us long-term acrylic nail wearers appreciate this kind of salon and technician. Try her out, then set a standing appointment.
