I have had 2 experiences with Brakur: The first was 1989 and I bought custom natural walnut cabinets from them. I went to their showroom choose the quality level and the cabinets turned out fabulous and one of the nicest I have ever seen About 9 years ago I purchased new cabinets from them. The sales person came to the house and I chose from samples. Even though I spent $ 18,000 I’m embarrassed to look at the poor quality of these cabinets. They are literally falling apart. Drawers and hinges coming apart. The poorest material imaginable. Wish I could get my hands on the salesperson as I believe I received a bait and switch. Total garbage product. The lesson is never to buy from Brakur unless you choose at their factory and have a team of lawyers with you

We have Brakur cabinets through out our house and although the sales process was a bit frustrating they really do stand behind their products. They have been out to fix our soft close drawers and even repainted a few doors we weren’t happy with. We have dealt with John and he is a wonderful service guy. Thank you !!!

I have four bathrooms and kitchen all Brakur cabinetry. I called to inquire on them fixing two drawers that were loose and misaligned. I was met with a I don’t care attitude over the phone. Before I could even describe my situation I was told that it is $ 100 to come out(not applied to cost of the service) and the warranty is one year. I asked, so you don’t want me to use you? The reply, please go to our website order the parts and fix yourself. I wish I would have had the opportunity to tell them I was to their website, ordered the parts and was unable to fix myself. I’ve seen this attitude with builders and contractors… we love you until the check is cashed. I do like the quality of the cabinets themselves but they need a lot of work dealing with folks who already wrote them a check.

We cannot say enough about Brakur Custom Cabinetry. We started the layout/pricing process June 2012 and just completed our new home in Lake Geneva February 21, 2013. Mitch and his team were patient and quite helpful in understanding our budget yet desire to have beautiful cabinets. Not only did Brakur exactly match our layout, they exceeded our expectations in costs and quality. We were not the easiest to work with and Mitch easily could have told us to look elsewhere. Instead, Mitch and his employees produced gorgeous cabinetry throughout our home and is working with us on smaller«projects». If you want a truly custom and quality set of cabinets, at reasonable cost? Choose Brakur Custom Cabinetry. And if anyone would like photos of the final work? Just send me a message, I will be happy to share. Thank you Mitch, we truly appreciate your work.
