Walgreens

Very frustrating experience with their pharmacy staff this week. I have bronchitis and the doctor called in 3 prescriptions for me. Although I use their text alerts, I never received one regarding the medicine so I called to see when it would be ready. The first girl I talked to told me that there was nothing called in under my name at all or my birthday and to call my doctor back. I called the doctor and was told it definitely went through so I called Walgreens again. This time, the male I spoke with was not interested in helping me but instead wanted to update my account information. I was not in the mood for his twenty questions at this time. He then told me they had none of my insurance information on file, which was weird because I picked something up the day before and they had all of my info on hand already. He put me on hold to «look into this» and the call disconnected. I called back a THIRD time and finally spoke to someone, a manager I am guessing, who knew what she was talking about. She apologized, somehow magically found my prescriptions AND my insurance and said it would be ready in an hour. I picked it up and all was fine, but get your act together.

It’s fine here. Clean store and plenty of staff around. Not much to say, it’s convenient since it’s very close to my home.
I prefer CVS normally.

It’s Walgreens, what more can you say? Although, as a regular, they call me by name.

I love Walgreens never really have to wait in line. Wish they had more specials on energy drinks (of course) though. Always clean always nice people. A great on the go alterantive to the family stores.
