Cajun Liquor

Let’s talk about the blessing that is Cajun Liquor and it’s awesome daiquiris. So to start this is NOT the place to put on airs. Leave that shit at the door. Seriously, no one here gives a shit about what you think. I love it!
For the most part everyone goes through the drive thru. Oh, but not me… not with my Unilocal loving ass. We’re getting out this car for the FULL experience. I don’t care that’s it o’dark thirty. (Btw we went twice to include the daytime) Of course, my boyfriend obliges. God bless him. He puts up with all the random pictures. He won’t even eat until I take a picture. Instagram boyfriend/​husbands don’t have shit on a Unilocal boyfriend/​husband. Someone should do a video on that.
I’ve digressed moving along. Getting out of the car we were greeted by the local bootleggers. You know the person with the DVDs, CDs, purses, perfume and so much more. Real friendly dude I must say. :) Finally, we make it inside and you’re greeted to black & mild’s and cigarette smoke. There were multiple daiquiri machines running at full speed. We were greeted by an older lady with a raspy «Hey Baby.» She asked us what we wanted. Drinks are two for one and must be the same size. She made our drinks all while smoking a cigarette. Never once did an ash drop into our drinks. Not once.
Miss Shirley that is her name, takes multitasking to new meanings. All while assisting us, smoking her cigarette and giving employees instructions. She still managed to watch other patrons like a hawk. It was pretty awesome to watch.
Again not a single ash hit the ground or in our drinks. We got our drinks and out we went. Honestly, the daiquiri drive-thru’s are the adult version of Snow Cone stands. The drinks aren’t overly sweet plus the extra shot of liquor is not too shabby. ;-)
If you’re ever in the port city. I highly suggest experiencing all the zero fucks given at this place. You’ll be a lot better and drunker for it. Is drunker a word? Hell, it will be today. Meh, I may be drunk writing this review. But, that should make you want it even more.
