I truly love world market! Can’t wait to get a new house so I can get some dining room furniture from here! Always something unique to search for. Yummy treats to find and awesome kitchen stuff all at great prices!

Prices were fair and I could get lost for hours in this store! There was so much to look at and browse through. I definitely will become a member the next time I come back in. It will be hard to leave this place without buying something!

I was supposed to make the trek to Shreveport yesterday to go to World Market again but it didn’t happen. I’ve only been once as I had been told by my classmates and professors that this is every person who loves to cook’s dream place to visit. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I had been told they have more than just food, furniture and other odds and ends.
Upon entering, you feel like you are in a Whole Foods or Trader Joes with wines to the left and aisles of food. But on the right they have clothing and accessories and gifts galore. In the back they have some other higher end unique delicacies to purchase. Watch out for the free coffee and tea sampler in the very back. I tried some caramel pumpkin spice and it was very bland, definitely not purchase-​worthy.
We ended up finding the wine we served at our wedding, which we couldn’t find anywhere else so far in North Lousiana, we bought a package of sweet potato gnocchi, and a jar of hazelnut banana spread. It was well worth our visit and I’ve been hoping to go back since!

Favorite place to shop in Shreveport! Very good wine selection and if you’re looking for hoard to find foreign food goods. We buy a lot of house décor from them too. Find some time to stop by and get something!

I am all about some World Market! Just give me an excuse to come here, whether it’s bringing the dog over to neighboring Pet Smart for a shave and a rinse, or I’m feeling down and out and I gotta go to nearby Velocity Care (which is awesome, by the way!) or whatever, I’m going to hit World Market whenever I’m in the area! It’s just an awesome store! I love all the knick knacks, the wine and beer and soda selections, the international foods selection, the kitschy and cool artwork. It’s just a great place to walk around in and browse, even if you’re not going to buy anything. What I like in particular: That they have Curly Wurly candy bars from Merry old England (these are just like Marathon bars from back in the day, chocolate with braided caramel-​AWESOME!) and Aero bars from Canada, eh? Dee-​lish! I also like that they sell Tikka Masala sauce at $ 4 a jar, so you can make your own Chicken Tikka Masala at home! They also have really cool Pez dispenser selections. World Market rules!

Love this store. Great selection of wines and beers and international foods. You can buy treacle here! Lyles at that. Just a cool place to find cool stuff cheap.
