If you were to Google the term dive bar, a picture of this place should come up. This place definitely epitomizes every assumption of what a dive bar should be. Bad Karaōke, decent drinks, the obligatory drunk half asleep on the bar, the bachelorette party objectifying men… you’re guaranteed to find one or all of these things on any given night. My only complaint is that they still allowing smoking inside, so I felt like a super dirty ashtray when I left.

We went on a Saturday night, Karaōke night. Selections were pretty good… drinks were a bit pricey. There were 3 outdated arcades inside and a just your standard bar setup. Nothing fancy, but it wouldn’t be my first pick.

This place has really come into it’s own over the past few years. No longer a live music venue(check out sister bar Bear’s on Fairfield for all of your live music desires), it has been newly remodeled with a beautiful bartop and patio area, and there’s an impressive craft cocktail list & import/craft beer selection to go along with it. No menus here, just ask your bartender for what’s new and other recommendations. Great low-key hang out for any day of the week. Patio is perfect for cool summer nights and bourbon smashes with a group of friends.

Great hole in the wall bar. Great place to chill and relax with a couple of cold ones.

Dive bar would be a generous description for this place, the bar itself is like drinking in a hallway and there’s little to no one there anymore… likely won’t be in business much longer. Should never have gotten rid of Flippy.

This is my favorite dive bar. It has such a relaxed atmosphere, and many of the patrons are very friendly folks. They have good live music on the weekends, and the bartenders are fantastic. :)

This place is okay but they always charge a cover for a live band that half the time no one even wants to listen too. The cover is too pricey for this overcrowded joint… def need something better to bring me in for $ 10. When they aren’t charging a cover I always stop by just to see whats going on.
