W’s Steakhouse

I will definitely not recommend this steakhouse to anyone. First of all, the waitress never introduced herself. We had a party of eight, two of us never received our salads and didn’t get an apology. They were out of everything on the menu. Then when our entrée’s were finally served my sister steak was overcooked, crab cakes were fried hard, and my other sister never received her food. So then I’m assuming the young lady (our waitress) because we didn’t have a name must’ve have told the person on duty that there was an issue with her food. So again, she comes to the table I’m assuming she was the manager owner or whoever not sure and told my sister they ran out of pasta but may I mind you we had been waiting for all of our food for over an hour!!! So her solution was we can offer you something else off the menu and comp it. But if you get the same meal you ordered that you’ve been waiting for over an hour for and will have to continue to wait even longer because more pasta has to be prepped you will have to pay for (wth) never in my life have I heard of such thing. She asked if we wanted more drinks and we stated we had frozen drinks and she said how is that possible when we don’t even have that on our menu. We were like oh wow ask your bartender because he sure made them for us. But how ironic of course he ran out of mix before we could ask for another round. Then to add insult to injury. When she wanted my sister to pay for that meal and she wouldn’t comp it due to their neglience and lack of prepping either that morning or the day before she snatched the plate out her hand and stomped off!!! I have waited on tables and patrons for over at least 12 years of my life and have never seen such tack and unprofessionalism in my life. She was so rude and actually I felt sorry for the waitress and had a 20% tip added to my ticket but when that lady showed out the way she did I can honestly say I scratched it out because she was so rude and made sure told us that the waitress was new and she had only been working for about two weeks and her son was just trying to help her out which that was none of hour business what so ever. She was so, so, tacky. I’ve been to the best of the best of restaurants and by far this was the worst experience I have ever had anywhere and that is including fast food as well. I could have gone to Sonic and gotten better treatment!!!

I like it well enough. Tad on the pricey side but not bad. Service is not great but isn’t bad either. I’ve never had a bad meal, but not outstanding either. What disturbs me most was seeing that the owner gave somewhat condescending responses to Google reviewers. That was disconcerting. Advice: apologize and offer to make it right. Don’t go farther make it seem like the customer’s fault. It makes you look terrible.

Went here New Years and waited 3 ½ hours for all our food. Even had to get my own drinks at the bar. Service was horrible. $ 50 steak was freezing cold. Stay away from this place and save your money just go to Logan’s. Also the bartender was very rude and I think he is the only other review on Unilocal for w’s. Sad

I definitely recommend this restaurant for either a casual night out or a very special night. The atmosphere inside is very relaxed but at the same time very classy.
I visited W’s with my wife and had their filet. The steak was so tender that you could almost cut with just your fork. We also included the au gratin potatoes from the former chef at The Cub, who is cooking at W’s now. We will definitely come back.
