Use ANYBODY else If you can. Use rabbit ears and tin foil for better tv reception. Use smoke signals instead of their mobile data. Totally serious.

I had comcast about a year ago. I was just checking back to Unilocal to see if anything had changed but it looks like it’s the same. It was awful! They never got our service right. It would cut out for 10 minutes at a time multiple times a day and it never worked right. It was slow during peak times too. I called several times a month and service reps came out to my house 4 times in the 3 months that I had it. None of them fixed our problem. The calls with customer service were mostly painful. Some people said they couldn’t see and issue and others said they could see what was going on and would get someone to fix it. It was so inconsistent. Billing was also a nightmare. Finally I gave up and changed services. Even though I the place I am getting internet from has a «slower» service(6mb instead of 25mb), it is WAY better. The slowness shows sometimes, but it is better than having service that doesn’t work at all!

Comcast tv, internet, phone service is terrible. When one goes out, they all go out. Every 3 – 4 mos there is some issue with connections, etc. Then when you watch a live TV show, the screen will blurp out and in at various times, causing you to miss part of the show. This is really beginning to be a pain, now, two weeks in a row having no service at all. Gonna have to look into a more reliable carrier for internet, tv and phone.

On the 28th of July 2015 at 11:02am Central Time I called Comcast at 800−266−2278, this said it was recorded for quality assurance, the gentleman I spoke to said the cable lines from the previous customers were still good and I would have internet same day if I would pick up the equipment and self install. After taking the equipment home and having no signal I called tech support. The man said the cable wasn’t running to the apartment and had to be turned on by a technician and he wouldn’t be available until August 2nd. I said the main reason I signed up was because I was told it was ready. I have important work related computer based training that must be done in two days. He said they’d have someone call me the next morning at 9am and let me know if they could make it earlier. No call was returned so at 10am I called and tried to cancel. The woman I spoke with and had been working towards a cancelation with connected me with a different technician and exited the call during the conversation. I took matters into my own hands. I returned the equipment to the nearest Comcast center. No offers were made to fix the blatant lies and my wasted time. If I had agreed to pay my bill on a certain date and didn’t I would be charged for it. All I get for them not fulfilling their promises is an apology.

Comcast is the worst customer service provider I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. Contant billing errors, over charges, shoddy equipment., completely flawed technics, and wires hanging out all over the property here in shreveport. It’s too bad you can’t post pictures on this site. However they are posted on FB. I wouldn’t be surprised if their boxes look like this all over the city. Sudden Link… hurry up and come across the river!!!

Not a huuuge fan of Comcast, I do know that they are often demonized in the media, and as of late, and really, since the good ol’ days of Cable Vision, when have we ever had a decent cable service provider in Shreveport, lemme see if I count using both hands and I incorporate a little of my high school Trig, okay, um… NEVER! But I will say this, I do like the Free On Demand features(although some of the networks and programs seem to fall off the menu for some reason, some of the times(Where is my Beyond Scared Straight and Bar Rescue?-Love those shows, and if I could just see Regular Show up there as a free choice, I’d be downright giddy!) I do like all the pay movie options, especially the independent film options(Can’t wait to see the new version of Pusher!) and I really like the last chance discounted options on films for $ 2.49, where my wife and I just watched The Five Year Engagement(with Don Johnson’s and Melanie Griffith’s model turned actress daughter, who plays Audrey in the film-My new crush!) and I’m looking forward American Reunion at the same price… so, Comcast ain’t great, but what’re ya gonna do?
