Our office orders here every morning. The bagels are very fresh, but call early because they run out quickly. Sandwiches are also good– I have had a Philly cheesesteak and it was great. My favorite is the spicy chicken garden salad with balsamic vinegar. It is another office staple.

Our company does a lot of sales presentations and we always order from AJ’s! They do a beautiful job that everyone always raves over.
We have never had an issue with poor customer service or delivery!

I’ve been going to AJ’s for close to 7 years, mostly for subs and sandwiches, and NEVER had a problem. The staff is always friendly (most of their business is phone and delivery orders, so if you go at peak meal times, they’re slammed. Short, businesslike greeting and conversation is understandable), service is quick (even when they’re busy), and their subs are great — generously loaded with meat and cheese. I think prices are comparable to Jersey Mike’s, but their food is way better and you certainly get more for your money. My only complaint is that they’re closed on Sundays.

I work in Tinton Falls NJ down the street from Aj’s. When I want a salad only place that comes to my mind is there Letter J. I order it with fresh Peppers and hands down they get my order right every time. I never had a bad thing to say about Aj’s. I call or fax over my order and no issue with them getting my order by fax. Thanks AJ’S FOR THE BEST SALAD IN TOWN !!! I just order mine about 5 minutes ago can’t wait.

customer service sucks !!! i work at an office and AJs is very close to us. everytime we have ordered they have messed up our order ! EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don’t know why we go back ! they filled my wrap with carrots which I specifically told them everything I wanted in it. the last hour they are open they will not take orders because they are lazy clearly. manager has an attitude. don’t eat here go to windward deli instead.

Food is good, but the customer service is atrocious. They have zero appreciation for their customers; even ones that order large office lunches. I would rather go to McDonald’s across the street then have to deal with the rudeness of the people who work here.

Asked a local guy where I could find a place that was local or family run. He sent here or a health food place in the same plaza. Health food… yeah right.
This place is a small deli with a walk in store front. People are nice and the food is good. Ordered and got a good hot pastrami in just a few minutes during the lunch hour.
The #8 pastrami on toasted rye with cole slaw and Russian dressing was Great. If I am back the area I will be back.

I used to order from this place a few times a week because of their fair prices and solid food. If you dont care about getting horrible customer service then by all means go to aj’s. If however you think that a company should value their customers then go somewhere else; anywhere else. Honestly they are just horrible to deal with. They turn off the grill and deep fryer at random times before they close to make their lives easier with little to no regard for their customers. If you want to be done earlier, then close earlier! There is a woman who answers the phone sometimes and she is very nice but if you dont get her, you will feel unwanted for sure.
